Great bike for beginner or expert cyclist.
I am a beginner cyclist and my husband is an expert cyclist. Both of us love this bike. Very easy to change tension on bike. He gets onto bike easily. I have to use a step stool to get onto and off bike, but once I am on it I love to use it. Great bike for the price!

Single biggest piece of junk I have ever purchased
When I received my first LX7 the frame was so damaged I couldn't even get the handle bar frame onto the bike. I thought it must have just been damaged in shipping so I took it back to my local store and purchased another one online. The second LX7 came and I rode it for about a week, 30-60 minutes a day, out of the box the pulse reading function did not work. I decided to just deal with it because well, it's a $200 training bike after all. Today the peddle decided to snap off, and the threading came with it (I am well under the weight limit for the bike). Needless to say I have an expensive paper weight sitting in my living room. Chincy welds, soft useless metal, D.O.A. electronics and cheap threading. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS PIECE OF JUNK.

    Well built, Easy to Assemble
The product was delivered as promised and packed fairly well. Assembly was relatively easy. The wrenches are included and the instructions easy to understand. It took about 40 minutes but I took my time so as not to make any mistakes. I weigh 220 lbs. so the 300lb limit makes the bike feel sturdy. It is not noisy although it does squeak sometimes pedaling but sounds like it just needs oiling or tightening somewhere. My only complaint is the "computer" . (Thus only 4-stars) It is rather cheaply made. Also, it would be nice if you could select two metrics (i.e. heart rate and rpm) for constant display instead of only being able to choose one. Also a backlight for the display would be good. If you are above it looking down (standing position) there is little contrast to read the display. All in all, I am satisfied with the bike and can recommend it for a home gym.

    Very Good Spin Bike
You will definitely get your workout! I bought this for the days when its too hot, too rainy, too windy, and when the snow flies and I cant get out to ride my bike. It shipped in a timely manner. Originally shipping said 2 weeks. I got it in a week. Awesome!! The box was a little beat up, but what do you expect? No parts were broken or missing. I checked that over and over again. Spot on! Set up took about an hour. I was side-tracked with having lunch, watching the news etc. If you are not side-tracked, setup, un-box to first ride, realistically can be 30 minutes. All parts clearly marked, all tools included, but you may want to have a pair of adjustable pliers handy. The ride: After making adjustments to meet my body, I took the first ride. OH MY!!.....its a workout. The level of challenges is only limited by you. I was shooting for 30 minutes. I made it to 15. I felt like I rode for an hour. Grab a youtube video and do your workout to it. You wont regret purchasing this bike. Thanks........

    Good for the money
Much more sturdy that I thought it would be for the price. Very good looking bike. Seat is uncomfortable if u are new to spinning. Handle bars are a bit shaky when you go from sitting to standing. Its rather loud. The water bottle holder will only fit like a 16 ounce bottle, fyi. If your sweat drips onto the wheel it will make pedaling 100x more difficult u til it dries, so I just put a guard over it. The odometer thing worked accurately for the first few rides. After that half of the screen stopped working, not sure if its because sweat was dripping on it. But I never thought it would actually work anyway, so was not disappointed. Fyi, on average, if your pushin it, you will go about 6 miles in 30 min or 10 miles in a hour. Overall, im really happy with this bike for the price. You always get what u pay for, and this bike exceeded my expectations for such a small price tag. Btw, ive been spinning for years and just wanted one of my own so I wouldnt always have to go to the gym. If anyone has any questions at all, please let me know. Id be more than happy to answer. Btw, a lot of reviews complained about chips and paint being scratched upon home delivery. I avoided this by picking up the bike from the actual store and it was in perfect condition. Had my boyfriend assemble it and he was it was really easy.

    Great buy
I saw this bike and the price tag caught my eye. I read a few of the reviews and noticed that most negative commetns were regarding packaging or shipping damage. I received the bike and it was heavy to carry in myself. I had to get two men to carry it in. I want to say set up was easy, I was able to set this up on my own for a female that is a WIN! The instructions were a little hard to follow but thank God for pictures. The cover over the chain has a small crack but I can live with that. I had a hard time installing the seat and after breaking my head over and over i had someone do it. I am not sure if the bolts are stripped at this point because the seat moves up and down when i sit and stand on the bike. I am going to remove this seat and take it to a bike shop and have them fix it. Overall the bike is great for a at home bike. It isn't to noisy but it's not silent either.

    Great bike!
I have no experience with other indoor bikes but this is a replacement for my Specialized road bike so I know a bit about bikes. Assembly was pretty easy. It came with tools so I didn't have to search for anything. The seat is decently comfortable. The handlebars feel a bit odd to me but I think that's because they aren't like a regular bike. It has sensors to detect heart rate but I feel they are too far out on the outer bars. The riding experience is good. It is a little noisy compared to one I tried in the store. The box it came in showed it had a bumpy ride so something may be out of alignment. It does not freewheel like a normal bike so doing just stop pedaling when you want a break or to stop. It'll try to take your ankles off. I'd buy another one. I've only had it for a week so I can't really say much about durability other than its solid.

    Would recomment this to anyone
I have had my Bike for 3 weeks, and love it! I do 30 minute workouts, trying to get back up to the hour, like I did at the gym. I have no time to get to the gym, so this was perfect! My only thing is, there were no instructions in the box when I received it. Glad I have Mechanical skills, it wasn't to difficult to put together.

My hope was to purchase the Sunny Health and Fitness bike but when it went from $260 one week to $420 the next I decided to go with the Exerpeutic. The bike is very well built (heavy, solid) and was easy to assemble with the included tools. I had seen the negative comments on the seat and computer. My goal was to replace the seat and I only planned on using the timer function of the computer. Well the seat takes some getting used to but now it is not so uncomfortable so I will continue to use it. As for the computer it seems that whatever function I choose nothing seems to work correctly, the speed seems off, timer... Honestly the Sunny Health bike didn't have a computer or heart pulse sensor either so I didn't really care if this bike had it or not. This is my first spinning bike and at 6'3" it isn't the most comfortable to ride leaning forward enough to use the heart pulse sensor. All said this bike does just what I wanted it to do at a very good price. Recommended.

    Great basic bike!
I have been cycling for years at Lifetime Fitness, but wanted a bike to have at home. I really enjoy using this bike, it is quiet and smooth and comfortable (I bought a different seat to use, I would recommend that as the one that comes with it has zero padding). It is a bit rocky when I stand, but I spend most of the time in the saddle so it is not a problem. Set up took about an hour, not too complicated. I like the monitor that comes with it, it is very basic but has everything I need on the display. The only negative was that the chain guard was cracked when I received it; however I read on many reviews for many bikes that it is a common occurrence with shipping. I am pleased with this bike for overall value for the cost!
