This is the 2nd set of these shades have ordered. Quality is excellent, easy install and the linen look is beautiful. Worked perfectly and beautifully for both areas needed for. The aqua is soft and the charcoal isn't harsh.

Poorly adjusted lifting spring mechanism
Nice and heavy fabric. Instructions were poor, but there are only so many ways you could install it. My biggest complaint is the lifting mechanism. It is like the spring-type roller blind. We've installed 2 shades- one shade was tight and lifted rapidly, the other shade was quite sluggish and wouldn't lift (out of the package). My husband adjusted it and it works for now, but I worry that it will continue to fail like many cheap blinds. If you were installing them to stay in one position, this wouldn't be a big deal, but my son will open and close them daily and I don't feel confident about the spring lasting.

    We did “spring the spring” while installing. Took us quite a while to figure out how to re-wind it. Perhaps with more care on our part, the spring (only one) wouldn't have let go.

    Nice quality
    These shades do block out the sun and they are smooth to pull and look gorgeous. I wish there was a way to take the fabric off and clean it though. Over time without a steam cleaner I don't think they would look as great.

    The Exclusive Home Curtains Acadia Total Blackout Roman Shades are the best. Very easy to install and all the hardware comes with it. I love the shades they actually work like there suppose to n keep it dark in whatever room u put them in.

    Appearance is great, but wrong size sent
    It was hard for me to fairly review this blind..as the wrong size was sent to me and I only had the one window it would fit in and I unfortunately could not utilize the product. Beautiful blind though and quality fabric and build.

    Great blind for my sons room
    I got this for my preteen sons room. His room is facing the sun for most of the day. This blind definitely blocks the son from entering his room, it has also cut down on the heat from son exposure to his room. Completely satisfied with this blind.

    Blackout is right
    I am amazed how well these keep the daylight out of your house. I can sleep in longer now thanks to this shade blacking out my room. Highly recommend it! The shade comes with all the hardware you need and it was so easy to install. The style of the shade makes the room look really nice. Don't hesitate! Buy you some they are reasonably priced and excellent quality.

    Acadia total black out curtains certainly get the job done. The curtain construction is sturdy and provides the complete dark blackout that it claims. The back portion of the shade has a hanging white curtain, while the actual backing of the shade is coated as well, this allows for no light to penetrate the shade. The shade operates up or down manually by simply pulling on the white handle hanging at the back of the shade. The installation is pretty basic where your screw in the brackets and click/push the shade panel in. Simple but chic for any room.
