Everstart delivers a great jump start and more too
Let me say to start, I have never had experience with a jump-start unit personally. But getting acquainted with Everstart's Maxx Jump Starter and Power Station has been an eye opener. It is one of those tools that, after you have used it, you don't want to be without. I tested it in 4 ways to see if it lived up to claims, and nothing disappointed. I plugged into all of the USB ports and turned on the LED built in light, and charged three devices for 80 minutes. The displayed voltage capacity of the unit went from 12.9 to 12.6 volts, and still shows 4 bars of remaining power. Next, after fully recharging the unit, I plugged a fan that draws 1.35 amps at 120 volts ac and ran it on high for 15 minutes. The unit dropped one bar and .4 volts in capacity. After fully recharging again, I tried the compressor out. I really like the compressor, as you have total control over it's output. ATV tires are low pressure, and have to be guarded against over inflation. On the Everstart unit, you have digital control and precise setting ability. I set the unit to the maximum allowable tire pressure and let it run. It shuts off at the setting, so there is no overinflating possible. A follow-up check with the special low pressure tire gauge that comes with the ATV showed that the pressure was spot on. Impressive. Lastly, after again fully recharging, I did a jump start on my Ford F-100, after purposely draining the battery to the point the engine would not turn over. The Everstart jump function started the pick up immediately, and it had plenty of power to spare. I totally recommend this product. I will most likely have one in my tool arsenal from now on!

i was extremely excited to receive this multifaceted inverter. I had a low pressure tire so i charged it up and begin to use it, not even 5 mins in it smelt burnt smelling and stopped working. i had high hopes for sure. maybe consider another inverter or don't use the tire air filler up.

    DO NOT BUY, not a Car jumper
    Horrible! The button to indicate the unit should jump the battery is lodged inside the unit and requires a "mighty" push for unit to give you the "beep" I'm not even sure what to do with this thing. It can charge a phone, at least I think, but it can't jump start my car, (I let it run down, just for this test) which is what I wanted. Will have to call AAA now... just terrible. Don't waste your money. Not well built, didn't work.

    So it’s obviously very helpful but there are some pros and cons. Cons- doesn’t come with a cord to charge it and they want you to charge it before first use. The light doesn’t have much movement to it. Cords are pretty short. Pros- you can charge things on it and attach things on it like a tv or laptop while out and about. Obviously it can jumpstart a vehicle. It’s a decent size to just pop into the trunk!

    First off I say get you one if you have not got tons go and buy one now. I’m a single mom and have road side assistance but they can often take a while in rural areas. My kids left my switch on and ran my battery down thanks to the jump starter box I was able to get my car jumped off without calling a tow truck.

    Saves the day
    Recently my car battery died and unfortunately I could not get anyone to give me a jump. We're living in different times and it is harder to get people to help. So I knew I needed something besides just useless jumper cables because jumper cables only work if you have a running car to hook them up to. This is exactly what I needed. It fits perfectly into the compartment in the back of my SUV so it isn't sliding around everywhere. It has a flashlight attached to it, can jump start your car, air up your tires, has USB ports and even an actual plug. Making this perfect for emergencies. I charged it fully when it arrived and have kept it in my car since. I have used it to jump start 2 cars at work for co workers and aired up my tire once and also used it to air up my 4 wheeler and lawn mower tires. I make sure to periodically check the battery level so I can ensure it is always charged. The charge lasts a long time on it and everytime I've needed it, it has turned right on and did what it is supposed to. Definitely gives me peace of mind.

    I love all the features of this Everstart Maxx Jump starter set. It is very powerful and helps in jump starting cars and trucks. I had to use this to jump start my friend’s Honda CRV and it worked great. I followed the instructions in the manual. It’s super easy to use once you get a hang of it. It can also be used to provide pressure to the tires if they get low. It has a powerful 500-watt inverter and high-output triple USB power ports electronic devices. Really useful when we have any emergencies.

    Listen, I can think up endless uses for this device, whether it be for the car or home. Please make sure you take heed to the directions and CHARGE THE DEVICE FULLY PRIOR TO USING. It charges, jumpstarts, has an air compressor, outlet, USB ports, a flashlight, and works on smaller vehicles and up to a V6 engine. Then, say your power goes out at home -- It can be like a mimi generator to charge devices, you can have light, or plug in an extension cord. It also comes with the air compressor adapter for smaller objects, like basketballs. Keep the instructions handy if you need to figure something out like an electrical conversion, but its fairly easy to use. Being a woman who is always on the road, and mostly at night, it's good to have a device like this handy so you don't have to wait hours for roadside assistance or have to depend on a complete stranger, which could end badly. The device isn't that heavy and has a nice, protective rubber exterior. It also does t take up much room in the trunk. You really can't go wrong with this device - it has so many necessary uses.

    Exactly what I needed
    This EverStart maxx Jump Starter has everything I need. Not only is it a jump starter, which can be used to jump start a car, truck, motorcycle, etc. it has an air compressor, and it’s a power supply source as well. This jump starter can be used on vehicles up to a V8 engine. I used it on my 6.8L Ford and it started with no issue. I also used the air compressor on a low tire on my car. This feature was easy to use, I connected it to my tire, hit the compressor power button, entered the amount of pressor that I needed, I hit the compressor button again and the unit started filling the tire. Not only does this inflate tires it come with a sports needle to inflate balls, etc. Out of all its features I’m going to use the AC Outlet and the USB ports the most. This unit has a maximum power draw of 500 watts. This has allowed me to power my laptop and my cell phone while being at the park. I also used the AC Outlet to power a couple of small fans while camping. Overall, this is a great unit and it's easy to use and understand.

    Multi use and portable!
    This unit is not too heavy or big to be cumbersome. It is easily moved around. It has a nice rubber handle that offers a good grip. It can provide 500 W AC power. This will power small items. I plugged in a shop light and it worked fine and was just as bright as if plugged into a regular outlet. The charging ports are conveniently located and worked as expected. It has a removeable flashlight on the side that will come in handy. It comes with a comprehensive users manual. It is stated that it does not come with an extension cord. You have to have your own to plug it up and charge it. We have a lot of extension cords on hand so that is no problem. I did not have a battery that needed to be jump started so I could not test that out. The tires on my car needed a little air and it took very little time to air all four of them up. It would have been quicker if the reading on the air compressor display worked. After setting the desired air pressure, it never changed from reading 0.0. It is supposed to show the current pressure of the item being inflated, but did not. Since it could not monitor the pressure of the tires being inflated and know when the pre-set pressure was reached, it could not automatically shut off. This had to be done with a manual tire pressure gauge. Unhooking and hooking the hose back up several times during inflating each tire was tedious.
