New Seat.
It sits my 4 year old very nicely. The seat belt guide loop brings the the seatbelt at an appropriate level for my child. It also takes up less room than my previous fwd facing seat.

Flimsy plastic and impossible to assemble
I received the Evenflo GoTime LX Booster Car Seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Unfortunately this car seat is impossible to assemble. I've tried for hours and the plastic was bending to the point of almost breaking. Even if I were to be able to get it together I would not trust the integrity of it to put my child in. The amount of effort I've put into making it come together is not how a car seat should be. I have three kids and have assembled many car seats and kid products though the years but nothing like this. In theory the car seat has great features but I feel like corners were cut in the design and it made me no longer confident in the safety of the seat. I'd love to be able to tell you which features were the best and how it works overall but I cannot. I'm not sure if mine was just defective but I'm not able to review something I cannot use.

    Price is on point
    Thanks to Stellar panel for giving us the opportunity to try this product out. I had a relatively easy time putting the parts together to form the actual booster seat, and although it came with a manual the process was pretty straightforward. We are currently using the high back booster setting and it meets expectations. My kid can put on the seatbelt by herself, and she is able to do so with ease. I feel that for its price the materials used were proportionate to it. It does the job and that is what is ultimately most important. The seat is lighter than our usual carseat so it is easy to maneuver in and out of the car, which is a plus factor if this will be the spare car seat or travel car seat. Most favorite feature is that I have options and am not locked in to just one particular setup.

    Great price point, but a few things to watch out for
    The Evenflo Go Time LX Booster has a great price point. But after assembling it and using it for a few weeks, it's not what I expected. I will start with what I disliked. Upon assembling it, I had a hard time connecting the back piece. It does use extra force, but a bit more then I expected. The cloth cover is great quality, but I was not happy with how it was connected to the seat. The directions explained there were 2 top hooks to connect to, and there was not on my seat. I looked everywhere and had my husband check to see if I was missing something and there were no hooks. There was a little nub but the straps wouldn't stay on. I did find 2 hooks tucked in another spot but had to really stretch the cloth and it almost tore. So I made it work, but it's not correct. I could also use a tool to pull the strap through the other side of the car seat to try and keep it on, but it was so difficult and not an easy hook like every other one. It's almost as if the hooks were placed incorrectly on my seat. The seat is also kinda flimsy. When my son leaned over to fasten his seat belt it easily would tip to the side. So it did not seem sturdy on the leather seat. My favorite feature was how the seatbelt ran through the back of the booster seat. The seatbelt stayed in place and didn't come out. Which was really nice! It was easy for my 5 year old to reach the seatbelt and buckle it himself. The seatbelt is pretty tight in there so you have to pull a little harder to buckle up. The head rest was also very easy to adjust which was nice. Over all, the Evenflo Go Time LX booster is a great price point, but I'd rather pay more money to get something that was more sturdy and an easier set up. Usually I am all for saving money to set up a product, but the cloth seat issue was too frustrating to deal with. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me this booster car seat!

    Good for young big boys or girls. My kid is a (size 10) five year old, so he behaves like his age of course but doesn't fit a regular car seat. So this offers extra protection while still being a booster seat.

    Easy to put together in just what I was looking for. I was looking for an inexpensive high back booster that still had good quality. Picture shows it placed in my 2020 Dodge caravan.

    A little disappointed
    Poorly made. I loved the fabric easy to clean bright colors however the car seat is completely plastic with plastic hooks for the elastic attachments and those two combinations do not make for endurance. Mine arrived with the middle plastic hooks broken off so I had to return it and there's not much padding for additional safety and comfort but looks great!

    It's fine for the price
    So this seat is fine. It's so cheap so it's hard to complain. But I have one major complaint -- it's impossible to take a nap in. My daughter is 4-- she says it's comfortable and I have no issues with it but every single time she falls asleep no matter how tired she is or how long she tries, she simply cannot rest her head in this seat. Her head is constantly falling. I even tried to hold it and it still fell. I've tried pillows, towels, a neck pillow. Nothing works. I've given up and will probably cave and get a better seat. As they say, you get what you pay for.

    Excellent Booster
    This booster seat is a hit with my toddlers. I have to buy another one, because they always like to argue about who sits in it LOL. This booster is great quality and I'm satisfied with knowing my child is safe in it. The time to put it together was under 10 mins and was easy to do! I would recommend this to everyone with a toddler.
