Greeat for a small space
This was perfect for our closet that had a wet floor (and funky smell) due to a water leak. It worked great and did just as it advertised! I just wish we could've bought a small one in a store but the stores around here only carry the big $200 ones in stock. This worked fine and will have it if we ever need it again. (It was also cheaper than renting one at $30 a day)

It's a Dud
After reading so many good reviews I was looking forward to receiving and using this dehumidifier. Hardly pulls any water out of the air. After 20 hours of continuous running in a small bedroom there is only 1/2 inch of water in the container. Its quiet, but has no power. It's going back.

    Wonderful, Long-lasting Dehumidifier
    This is my second Eva-Dry Petite Dehumidifier. I bought my first for $30 sometime around 2010, and that little thing sucked all the humidity out of the air of my home for a decade without issue. Again, I used this thing not for one room, but my entire home. I have a smaller home, but it still regulated the humidity levels in a two-bedroom home by itself (for a decade). When poor little Evan finally stopped working, I immediately looked to see if the same model was still available. Thank you for carrying this dehumidifier, Walmart! Evan Jr. has regulated our in-home humidity levels from over 82% to 52% in just a few short days. The first day we had him plugged in and running I was breathing a lot easier. We've been emptying him once per day. Not sure how a dehumidifier this little is this mighty, but as long as this model is available I will buy nothing else. Highly, highly recommended.

    not impressed
    it would be nice to know ahead of time that a signature is required, i wasn't home when i bought it and i wasn't able to sing for it. now i need to buy it all over agine

    Great little dehumidifier!
    I bought one of these and came back for another. I use it for my living room and have noticed that th humidity is much lower and laminate flooring isn't creaking as much as it once did in the hot humid weather. I purchased another one for my bathroom area. It's small, attractive and works well!

    It runs whisper-quietly and performs as advertised - I am running the unit in a basement bedroom, and the reservoir fills up about every two days. The small tank is the only downside, but I just accept that as a necessity with such a small unit. I love that it is small enough to fit on top of a desk or shelf.

    Didnt whet my appetite
    I used this in a 150 sqft room (in Florida) and while it removed some moisture from the air (approx 6oz in 3 days), it was not enough to reduce the humidity level noticeably. I returned it and bought a $170 unit which has been removing over a gallon of water in less than a day. If you buy this EDV-1100 unit, you may want to buy more than one.

    Good product ordered as a walmart shipment, not a
    Great item and orderung from walmart itself instead of walmart's 3rd party shipper (which unit showed up without a cord/plug was much better. I did order the same item from ace hardware and it areuved 3 days earlier than walmarts. Wanted to play it safe so i now have a backup. Great size for my rv.

    Very effective! Especially for its price and size.
    I've been using this dehumidifier for nearly 7 months now and can honestly say that it is so effective. When I first moved into my current apartment, my blankets and sheets felt damp due to the high, Florida humidity but this dehumidifier pulls a good cup and a half of water out of my air biweekly. It is also very quiet, with only a soft fan sound. The only things I might say are bad about this are that its capacity is a little on the smaller side, and its light a little brighter than I would like for a bedroom. But overall, this a very good investment. Highly recommend.

    This is my third Eva- Dry 1100 - it feels slightly less “substantial” than the older models- its definitely lighter plastic but seems to work just as well. With constant use these powerful little dehumidifiers work for about 6/7 years which is incredible (prob last longer if my kids remembered to clean it more often! ) Two of our bathrooms have no vents at all- and we put one in each -these do the job beautifully!

    Decent product for the price and size
    Cute little product. After running for a few hours, there was water in the cup. I have this placed in my bathroom. Was a little afraid that it would take up too much room on my counter but it fits perfectly in the corner. It's definitely quiet too.
