As great as the brand name incontinence pads!
The Equate Options Maximum Absorbency Incontinence Pads are a fantastic find! I had been buying a name brand incontinence pad and was convinced that there was nothing better out there for my leaky bladder problems. When I tried the Equate brand I was simply flabbergasted. The absorbency was equal to my pads (which shocked me) and the adhesive on the pads did the job they were supposed to do. During a full day of moving around the pad stayed in place. I love the long length of these pads too, because if I have bladder leakage during the night, I'm protected. I also noticed that when I use them there is no noticeable odor coming from them at all. I really can't say enough about these Equate incontinence pads because, in my opinion, they're great! I plan to purchase these for as long as I need this type of product. You simply can't go wrong with these great pads at their great price.

Will Not Buy Again
I just started using Options because they were recommended to me. They were good and I'd been using them a month or so. The most recent ones I purchased caught me off guard. They were way shorter and narrower than they had been. Don't advertise longs and then go and shorten them. I am very disappointed. If I wanted short ones I'd buy short and get more in a package. Now I have to wear 2 to get a coverage I feel protected by. So I'm using double the amount, so not really saving any money. I might as well go back to Tena, at least I can count on them for protection. (The photo shows the old options pad and now the new ones).

    These are great , but I think they could be greatly improved with wings on each side that would fold under to protect the sides of panties getting wet.

    Very absorbent, breathable, and comfortable!
    After a life threatening surgery I need to use pampers and pee pads all the time. My daughter recently bought this pads for accident for her period, I ended up using them and to my surprise they are amazing!! Very absorbent, breathable, comfortable and the best part don't cause me any irritation on my skin (I'm extremely sensitive and allergic to synthetic materials) Definitely my new brand of pads.

    Touted improvements backfire
    The Options Maximum Absorbency Long Length pads are not as comfortable or as effective as they once were. They do not lie flat against the panty and bunch up during wearing. The adhesive loosens from the panty and then sticks to itself, leaving fabric unprotected. I've purchased these pads for years because of the price and quality compared to name brands but am looking for alternatives now that the quality has diminished. I'm having to replace them far too often because of accidents, and that impacts the cost savings negatively. Please lose the ruffled edges and extend the adhesive strip width-wise. Long length is good.
