Love the wide formatting, great product.
I am a long time fan of Epson printers for home use. Have never used one in an office setting. All Epson products I've ever used have never had any issues with hardware or software. This one is no different...so far. I have a friend over for the holidays (in IT) and even he was impressed with this printer. The speed of printing was noticeably fast. I had a few troubles with the drivers included with the printer but no issues downloading the drivers online. I printed some test pages of unicorns and gave them to the kids. They loved them, and the picture came out really nice. Before I had the drivers installed, I had a tough time figuring out how to use the wide formatting. The printer was functioning good enough simply by connecting it to Wi-Fi and discovering it on my computer but some features were missing without the updated drivers. The attached photos are errors received from the included drivers disk. There were absolutely no issues using the drivers I downloaded online. I recommend this printer for home or office use, though it may be a bit pricey if you intend to just use it for personal printing. This is a review for the Epson WorkForce WF-7720 Wide Format All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

Poor Paper Type Management
For some reason, the printer only supports photo papers in Tray #1. Which would be well and good if it didn't then get confused about what paper type is selected in the driver, versus selected in the printer. The several Mac clients on my network have issues printing. Selecting "Auto Select" for the paper type always prints from tray 1. Even when selecting the paper type, the printer itself often decides that the requested type doesn't match the tray, even when they are the same (see photo). If you are a mac user, this is an almost unusable printer except for experts.

Sent me a broken used unit.
They sent me a box that was clearly marked shelf display and passed it off as new and everything was broke and didn't even turn on. Not to mention that this printer was only 299 new but my fiance needed this model for some project but we didn't know it at the time. Absolutely horrified Wal-mart is affiliated with this garbage. It got dropped off and three hours later when I opened the box it was clearly used so I plugged it in and of course it was broken so I took it straight back.

it is really bad printer and if you be fool and update it, will not work any more this for the normal print and if you want to confirm it to sublimation printer, it is just give an error that to recognize the ink even if you replace the ink servals time

Won't print black or recognize cartridges
I just bought printer this weekend and it will not print black at all. I have tried cleaning print head and cleaning and still nothing. It kept getting worse until now it won't recognize the cartridges and also says the are empty. Only printed 17 pages trying to get it to print properly. I will be contacting Epson on Monday. What a disappointment to spend this money and can't even use it.

    Stay Away!
After doing research I decided to purchase this over the 7710 because of the extra tray option, and what I would need it for, for home and school purposes. I never should have put this printer in my cart! I am absolutely disappointed in it. I have had issue after issue with it and now I am receiving the 034503 error that Epson support could not fix over the phone. I am stuck with $211.00 piece of junk that I only had for 5 months and cannot return because it is after 90 days. I can't print with it, can't scan with it, fax with it, etc... It is literally stuck on the error screen after turning off and on. Please do not put this in your cart. Go look for another model, another brand, anything but this one. You will regret your purchase.

    Great Home Office Assest
Really have come to enjoy having my wide format printer in my home office. Saves me a great deal of time and I gain a huge advantage being able to print and scan at home. Great price for the features and the ink cartridges are reasonable. Having it on a wired Ethernet makes it a lot easy to access and print. Recommend it for the serious users.

    Scanner could use some work
I bought this model specifically for the larger platen glass to scan some oversize images. Alas, at 600dpi, the scanned image will show an annoying striping pattern that I don't see on my Canon WF632 at the same resolution. I haven't tried 300 dpi yet, but really, I shouldn't have to.

    Versatile Wide-Format Printer
This Epson WF-7720 wide-format business printing machine is an indispensable tool for my home business that I've been wanting for so long. I use this printer to print artistic photographs, business invoices, and greeting cards. It produces great quality prints, very professional looking and great for printing any documents, colored or black and white prints. Setting up, installing and operating the printer was pretty straightforward. I love this printer because it can print up to 13" x 19" and also scan documents up to 11" x 17". The printer came with software, instruction guide, and a power cord. Please note that a USB cable is not included. It is a versatile printer with dual trays (500-sheet capacity), auto 2-sided printing, plus rear feed. It has a 4.3" color touchscreen for quick, easy navigation and control, and a built-in wireless and Ethernet networking. This business printing machine does it all; from print, copy, scan and fax. It can also print directly from mobile devices, making it adaptable for multiple inputs from different locations. If you are looking for a new wide-format printer, I highly recommend this one. Very solid all round performer
I've only had this printer a little over a week but so far it's handled everything I've thrown at it with ease. The menu system is sophisticated and allows you to touch the screen to configure everything - it was very easy to setup the printer, I was up and printing in a matter of minutes. It is extremely user-friendly and I've been able to print wirelessly from all my devices, even supports printing via NFC. This thing is a beast, it's big and powerful and feature packed. The 500-sheet capacity via two 250-sheet trays is convenient. Has a much larger footprint than my previous Workforce, however those of us who utilize multiple paper sizes will find it a blessing. Great print quality, my only concern is the cost of replacement ink cartridges, I have not researched this at this point and hopefully they are reasonable. Overall, this is a beautiful piece of equipment. Among the best printers I've had the opportunity to use, Epson has really outdone themselves here. Great addition to my home office, totally exceeded my expectations.
