For 86 year old mom
I purchased this for my 86 year old mother. Easy for her to use. Fast enough for her needs...large screen a plus. Has been using it daily for the past couple of weeks with no problems. Five stars for the price. Quality seems good.

Didn't work for me.
Yes it powered up and downloaded most of the material i wanted, but was not only slow in doing so when i would open up the app i would not get a complete page. Clearly not fully downloaded even though it said it had. The page would come up and even change but clearly incomplete. I had no choice but to get a refund.

    This item is not Wifi capable. This tablet had glowing reviews, which influenced my purchase as a Christmas gift for my grandson. I was extremely disappointed when the tablet failed to connect to the internet after hours of troubleshooting every possible way. This tablet was returned to the store.

    Ematic EGQ223BL Touchscreen Tablet
    Had high hopes for this Ematic 10" Touchscreen WiFi Tablet; my other tablet finally died on me after 2 yrs & wasn't touchscreen, so I eagerly looked forward to getting my email, surfing web, social media, etc with the added ease of having a touchscreen tablet that was also advertised as being 'fast'! Well, unfortunately it's not 'fast', start up each time is soo slow as to be rather annoying. The 'touchscreen' letters & cursor get stuck very often; I have to hit keys several times to move or type letters or when 'dragging' letters. Because of this, I've decided to use my laptop for emails, facebook, etc. & use this tablet for playing 1010 games or scrabble. Tablet connected to wifi with no problem, & it was fairly easy to set up & connect to my other devices. I've had this tablet for less than a full week, and if it tests my patience too much, I may have to return to Walmart for another model. I felt I was taking a chance purchasing a brand I'd never heard of, but the description sounded great so I did it anyway. Paid under $100 for it, but still expected more (even though reviews were mixed) Unfortunately I can't recommend this to a friend, I'm disappointed overall, even if I do keep it for games.

    I purchased this for my grandson and he seems to like it, seems to be working, better than I thought it would at first, but that's fine as long as it works for him.

    Good for the price
    I like the tablet easy to use, the volume is low haven't tried with headphones yet. There are some games that I play on facebook that I can't play on the tablet it's not compatible. The end of the charger that plugs into the wall does get hot when charging, so I only charge it when I'm home.

    I've only had the Ematic tablet for 1 week it has been working great. Hooked into my wi-fi easily and loads very quickly. Screen resolution looks great.

    This was a Fathers Day gift for my husband, because he had broken his and our grandson was coming down, and they love to play the games together. This is an awesome tablet. The screen is of course larger which if you are older it helps you see everything so much better. It has all the things those expensive tables have. They are easy to operate, and the set up is very easy to understand. My husband loves the games and the internet on his tablet, because of the larger screen the words are larger and your not moving the screen back and forth because the screen is to small for the words.

    What a deal!
    Thin, light, powerful and a huge beautiful screen for under $100. This tablet is fantastic. I love all of the screen effects and bells and whistles in Android 5.1. The new icons are really pretty too. It's a bargain for such a cutting edge tablet. FYI there is a screen protector attached, make sure to remove it before using. I just remembered to mention the best part of this tablet. You have access to all the flash memory to install apps and games. A lot of tablets have partitioned memory and although they are marketed as a 16gb tablet you'll only have a 1gb or 2gb to install apps. After resetting this tablet there was over 10gb of unpartitioned memory available.
