Stem Toy Telescope
This STEM inspired telescope for young people in Elementary School will encourage learning in Science, inquisitive to learn about the Stars in the sky and other objects whenever they visit the Park. The colorful design made it very attractive to young scientist. I will recommend it for Parents and Grand-Parents to purchase for their young ones.

It's cute but it's junk
We had this toy for not even 1 full day and one of the tripod legs snapped in half. This is made of very cheap and thin plastic. We tried for quite a while in the evening time after dark to try and see the moon but was not able to see it with this. I even pointed it at a street light in front of our house and that was blurry. Don't waste your money on this product. The quality is very poor.

    Smaller than expected
I love the idea of a child friendly telescope and knew my daughter would love this. She was so excited to see the ‘moon and stars'. I was surprised how short it is though, to use it she has to kind of squat/sit. It doesn't extend any higher. The telescope doesn't zoom in and out it has one setting. It is light weight and easy to adjust. I wish it had the option to raise it higher and adjust the focus.

Educational insights geoSafari Jr. for boys&girls
I love educational toys for my children. My six year old loves science so this STEM toy was perfect for her. Now she can see the stars and look at things far away. You have to look down more so than up. It's in gender neutral colors. For boys and girls.

Not great for long distance viewing
I received a free Educational Insights GeoSafari Jr. My First Telescope, STEM Toy, Preschooler Science Toy in exchange for my honest opinion. The colours are vibrant and attractive, smooth texture but short in height, at least for my 6 year old, it is. However, this telescope was pretty disappointing. According to their claims, you see as far as the surface of the moon but could only see as far as my backyard. The magnification is preset, so can't be changed, which doesn't help any. Won't recommend.

Fun toy, but keep expectations low
This is a fun telescope for young kids. It's not complicated to use, there's one screw that goes through the bottom of the telescope and the top of the tripod, then you just point at what you want to see and look through. There's no adjustments to be made. The small viewer makes it much easier for them to use. My kids had a little bit of trouble finding the exact area they were trying to look at in the beginning, but they did figure it out eventually. They found it easier to use holding it directly in their hands rather than attaching it to the tripod. This is truly a “my first” sort of toy. I intend to bring it camping with us for the kids to use while we use our actual telescope. The magnification says it is 9x, it will help them to see the moon and other objects a little closer, but don't go in with high expectations. This is not going to function like a telescope you would buy for yourself. The viewing capability is similar to children's binoculars. The small eyepiece is the perfect size for their faces. We took it out to the lake and the kids had fun looking at islands and the other side of the shore. They found it easier to use holding it in their hands rather than attaching it to the tripod. Just know that it is a toy. It's bright and colorful and younger children will have a good time with it.

    Awesome kids Telescope!
This kids telescope is ideal for little ones that love to investigate and discover!! It's a perfect size for little hands, and it's easy to use! The quality is very good, and the appearance and colors are great! It folds up and packs away very well! My 2 daughters, 3 and 6 years of age, can both use and they both love! I highly recommend!!

    Great fun for kids
This is hard to see through as an adult, this is specifically made for kids. This is for daytime use - not night time. That being said, the kids are able to see details in the trees that are far away in our neighborhood. They seem to have fun trying to spot creatures in up high in the trees. Its very kid friendly in use and set up and travel. This is small enough to go anywhere and is light enough for small kids to use and carry.

    A great STEM starter!
This GeoSafari Jr. My First Telescope, STEM Toy, is a great starter STEM tool for all preschoolers. Is colorful and pretty good for sight seeing nature up close. From use on table top out of windows or outside table, some atmospheric items can be seen. This telescope opens up a new world for the youngsters to explore.

    We love it!
Our little boy loves playing with his telescope! It's even fun for us adults, although it's more like binoculars instead of an actual telescope, we all still enjoy it! I'd definitely recommend for the younger ones but I'd think twice for the older ones who actually know what's going on as it does not zoom in as far as a telescope.

    Hours of fun
It was hard getting my toddler to understand the concept of looking through the telescope, she is still just under the age range for this amazing learning resource. She still loves looking into it and looking for the moon. She moves it around and screams in excitement when she spots something. Every night after her bath, she asks for her "binoculars" and we go outside for a bit to see if she can spot the moon. As a family, we're obsessed with her new obsession.
