New Features are Awesome and Unit is Easy to Set Up
The new display makes it easier to read and monitor the air in your home. New details for Particulate Matter, Nitrogen Dioxide and VOC's are a plus. Download the Dyson Link App to monitor the fan while away from home, one of the great features of this product is it can monitor the air quality continuously without being fully on, so you get feed back that you can see over time. The new directional airflow allows you to blow the air backwards allowing for the purification to work without the cooling feature. As an owner of two dogs dust and particles are a constant battle, having the purifier helps to make sure that the air is Excellent. Over all this is a great product and the new features make it even better. If you are looking for a purifier and a fan, this is the best of both worlds and I highly recommend it.

Easy set-up, working great so far!
We received our Dyson Pure Cool™ purifying fan DP04 about a week ago. It was very easy to set up, and adding it to my Dyson app on my smart phone was super quick. It's working great so far; we have it in our master bedroom, set on Auto. It kicks on occasionally (like when there's extra humidity in the air from showering) and it's very quiet. Love the features for rotating/tilting, and the compact size. We haven't used it long enough for me to feel comfortable giving it five stars, but it definitely looks like it will be worthy of the rating!

    Awesome
    This is my third Dyson Air Purifier. My first one was the TP02 tower which we put in our bedroom. My wife has severe lung issues and pollen and pollution gets her coughing and choking all night. We turn the TP02 up to level 7 all day and night and my wife's allergies have been greatly reduced. I decided to buy two DP04 fans for our office and another bedroom. The DP04 tracks six different pollution types which I can monitor on my cell phone app. The app is awesome. I was shocked to find that the window air conditioner we used in one of the bedrooms was pouring NO2 gas in to the room. Living in California means fire season fills the sky with smoke. We have hit air quality index readings outside as high as 211 and choke to death when we go out. We've run the air purifiers all day at maximum speed and inside the house is nothing but fresh air. Highly recommend the Dyson Air Purifiers, especially if you live in California.

    If you have severe allergies you need this fan.
    My son and I both have severe allergies and were having a terrible time adjusting to all the new allergens when we moved. A family member noticed and gifted us the DP04 and upon setup I saw a significant decrease in our congestion within an hour. The app is fantastic and easy to use. You're able to view and manage all the setting from it and view graphs for each reading (which I prefer) when on the LED screen you are only able to view the number reading aside from graphs for the overall quality in real time and a 24 hr span. In the winter I keep the purifying fan on auto and back flow to keep the air clean and it works fantastically at keeping all my numbers below the goal range that Dyson has preset. In the summer you can often find my fan set to 10 (max) and oscillating and I haven't had any issues with performance. The maximum speed is both high and pretty quiet given the power it provides. Overall we have also seen a significant decrease in pet odors. The device is also pretty sturdy. I move the device around my house depending on my location and have accidentally bumped into the wall a couple of times and have seen no I'll affects. I only have two minor complaints. Firstly, the fan is prettt large to be advertised as a desk model in my opinion. Secondly, I'd love to see the integration of the Google Voice Assistant in conjunction to Amazon's Alexa. I have not used nor do I plan on using the Alexa feature so I cannot comment on the actual performance there. Overall, this fan is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone that I know but for those I know with allergies I tell them that they NEED this machine. My son and I have seen a significant improvement in our allergy symptoms when at home because of this purifying fan.

    Working well. I take out one star for limited option to switch temperature format from celcius to fahrenhait. I understand the display show the format depends of purchase market But this is silly idea. Every devices on the market give the option to user.

    I've owned the DP 04 for a few months now and it's been amazing. Build quality is great as usual for Dyson products. Easy to put together, set up for WiFi was very simple also. I purchased a purifier for each bedroom and it's helped my entire family sleep better at night!

    Wonderful NEW Dyson Air Cleaner
    I'm using this new air cleaner now for about a month. It's fantastic and much more innovative than the previous models. You can control it either by its own remote control or over the cell phone app. It detects practically immediately any kind of pollution (cigarette smoke, car exhaust gas, increased air dust, and so on.....) and starts running, until the air is clean again. The graphic display shows a lot of air related features, like ambient air temperature, humidity, and what kind of pollution it is "fighting" against. I highly recommend this product, a well designed and typical (Dyson) innovation.

    Love the Air Quality Details!
    I have the previous generation of air purifiers from Dyson and this one has a lot of cool new useful features. I love that now it shows you the details on air quality and what's contributing to the "poor/fair/good" rating -- it shows you if it's pollen, dust, gases, etc. It's also great that it shows all that in the tiny monitor on the front of the machine, so you don't have to always go to the app. As always, the super sleek and modern design is a huge plus!

    Small, yet filled with features
    I have been using this for the past week ever since I got it. The fan design is small, just a little past waist but it is great for my condo unit where space is limited. Because of its small size, carrying it around is not an issue, it is very light and never unwieldy to carry. However, even though it is small, it does not sacrifice features at all. The fan can be tilted at an angle to allow for air to blow above waist level and towards the ceiling. It can also be set to oscillate at 45, 90, 180 or even 360 angles while tilted to allow for great air circulation. The fan has done a great job at maintaining comfortable room temperature on warm or humid days. In the week that I have used it, there has not been a day where I needed to turn on my A/C yet. I can just turn this fan on and it will do the job just fine, and save on electricity. A new added feature compared to my previous fan was the Night Mode option. I can turn this on before going to bed on a warm night and the fan will maintain a comfortable temperature through out the night. It will then turn itself off to conserve electricity once a comfortable temperature has been reached. The fan, as always, is very quiet. You can barely hear it working when at low and medium fan speeds. Only if set to the maximum fan speed will you hear it, and even then, it is still very quiet compared to other fans. The new status screen on the fan is a very nice addition, it provides air quality level, humidity, room temperature, and more at the touch of a button. I would definitely recommend this fan to my friends and family.

    Great New Features & Easy Set Up
    I"ve used the Dyson purifiers in the past, and I really enjoy the additional features on this model. The display on this model is very useful. I find the auto mode extremely helpful as well. I found this model to be very simple to set up and the Dyson app is very easy to utilize. This model has many options that allow you to customize your purifying needs as well. Overall I find the quality of this model of the highest level.
