HEATER EASY TO ASSEMBLE.HEATS EXCELLENT. ENJOY HAVING THE THERMOSTAT AND FUEL GAUGE. OVERALL A GREAT HEATER!

Extremely extremely disappointed
Arrived with many dents the largest likely comprising the seal on the tank which seperates the top and bottom sections of the fuel tank. The replacement also had minor dents. It worked outside but failed to take accurate temperature and did not live up to the manual indicated max temp shutoff thereby continuously cutting out and not turning back on to maintain heat level indoors. After about 45min total run time began to flash E2,3 error code. Extremely disappointed, wasted many hours researching this model assembling and 12 gal of kerosene which had to be drained before it could be flushed, disassembled and returned. Had to purchase to hypertough 10gal plastic drain tubs for old kerosene. Unit was also very loud but generated great heat while it worked. Having anything heavy delivered without damage seems to be the exception rather than the rule. Would of loved it if it would of worked according to spec. Owners manual available for free online.

    Finally recived recived replacement.
    First one sent was damaged bent up in shipping. It was terrible trying to get a replacement. But everyone I talked to at Walmart was very nice. I recived notification the replacement had arrived I walked to my garage entrance and there it was. The box had slight damage but the torpedo heater was not damaged. It worked and I did a happy dance. Thanks

    Hot, fast and easy.
    Easy to assemble. Warms the 1200 sq ft area very easily. Brought the temperature from low 30s to high 60s. The unit is working well on off road diesel cut with some kerosene.

    Minor damage
    It seems to be a good machine that puts out a lot of heat. A minor issue was that the box it came in was damaged, and the unit sustained a small dent on the top tube part over the front of the heater. It does not affect the performance of the machine, so I will most likely fix it myself.

    Great unit
    Tip: Start it facing outside because it runs rich upon startup (just a second or two). This cuts down on fumes significantly. It's not meant for indoors without some ventilation. Would be ideal connected to some kind of heat exchanger. Fires up nice, burns hot.

    Fantastic unit
    Fantastic unit. Couldn't pass up for the low, low sale price. Local used similar units were nearly the same price. I'm burning diesel. Haven't tried other fuel yet.
