They are made primarily of common metals steel, zinc, and manganese and do not pose a health or environmental risk if used and disposed of properly. As the name says, they are durable apart from the fact that it is an excellent brand

Batteries burn nicely finished wood when they leak
Two times now I have uncluttered my wife's beautiful maple hutch to find leaking batteries that had been set aside and underneath, in the shape of the batteries, the finish burned off. Now we don't monkey around, even partially dispensed batteries go in the trash. Don't know why they are always Duracell but it seems to be the case. Picture shows damage to hutch and a bin of partially dispensed batteries that were stored for future use. Note the brand and the fact that virtually all of them have leaked. I do not experience this with other batteries, even store brands. Time to remove all Duracell batteries and move to Energizer.

    Duracell is the elite battery brand. It has the most long lasting batteries. My go to brand. It is a little more costly then the alternative brands but they last so it's worth it.

    Only brand I use
    I use Duracell brand batteries because that it was my mother always bought and they really do last sooooo very long. I have young kids so a lot of their toys require batteries and this ensures they'll be able to play with things for sometime.

    Keeps on giving!
    There is no other battery brand that you can trust to run your electronics than Duracell. They are a bit pricey! But they last long. I don't think I've ever changed the tv remote battery in the 4 years I've had my TV. For this quality out ways quantity! Don't be stuck in an ice storm with out them!

    I really like it.
    Honestly I have been using this batteries for a month already for a train toy, for tv remote, for an for a mini drone control I like them I thought they gonna be gone a week after but they still working pretty good, I recommend this product to use I really like it.

    Keeping My Life Lit!
    I am a nightlight, book light, carrying around a lit up cloud at night instead of turning on lights kinda lady. Needless to say, I go through some batteries! These little lights of mine are used daily. I could tell a difference in the brightness as soon as I replaced the batteries. Normally batteries do not last too long with me. These are still going strong and I am very pleased with them!
