AWESOME
This dustbuster is powerful and picks up kitty litter, hair, both mine and my pets, crumbs in the kitchen, spilled cereal, dirt from plant. Anything...has a super long cord, and i would rather have the plug in than worry about charging. The crevice tool pulls out and then locks, works perfect. I havent used the step roller because i have no steps. I used it right away and cannot believe i waited this long in life to buy one, and i am really glad i bought this brand. The sponge filter is easy to get too and the whole filter can be washed with water. It did get dirty quite fast so i cleaned it off twice within a 30 min time perhaps. Dust and hair will clog it if you do not. Hopefully there will not be any problems with getting new filters when necessary,. I am very pleased with it, exactly what i needed.

Only worked 6 times.
Had it about 2yrs and used it maybe 5 or 6 times. Turned it on today and after about 5 minutes it just stopped working. Has never had adequate suction. Even worse if you attach the the fabric tool. Don't buy.

    Great product
    I have both the battery model-2 of them.and this corded version. The corded version has twice the suction. Love it! The only problem I had had is the fold over nozzle could not handle wife abuse on storing for beater attachment. Please let me know if its replaceable. She lost it!

    Does the job, doesn't include the roller brush
    I just used my Scorpion for the first time. My first concern was, opening the box, there is no powered roller brush to be seen. I got the Scorpion, a short hose, a black "dust brush" and that's it. This unit is pictured with a powered roller brush on the Walmart site, but I solved the mystery. I called the company, and through some confusion with either marketing or in the factory, this happened: there are some Scorpions that are sold only with a hose and dust brush, and some with the powered roller brush (apparently to a store whose name rhymes with Farget, for a higher price?). So my unit (which actually has a different model number that listed on the box) was never intended to have the powered roller unit with it. It works fine, depending on your dirt (mine is a lot of cat hair), I think you'll be cleaning after every use or two -- and it's handy for those stairs. I don't really care about the roller brush but my stairs are not carpeted. So, I don't think you'll be getting a powered roller brush, but other than that I like it. It does blow air from the vents on the sides, but vacuums have to vent somehow, so all of them probably do. Someone online made a collar of sorts that he taped or attached to the unit to blow the air back instead of to the side, which I will be trying (cat hair blows around something awful). Some say you can't buy the filters, but it looks to me like you can at various online shopping sites (check those prices!), I think you just need the F117 style, at least I am going to try that. Part number of filter may vary but I think it'll fit. I hope this review helps you decide.

    The small corner vaccuum attachment easily broke off (bad). Spinning attachment gets tangled up with hairs from carpets very quickly. Fortunately it is easy to disassemble and get the hairs out of the gears and reassemble. This needs to be done every month or two depending on usage. It gets very hot after short use (15..20 minutes), then you need to let it rest. For vaccuuming a car or small trailer its good, but not really for household use

    Best little vacuum I own!
    I have owned a few of these hand held sized vacuums over the last few years for cleanups around the house. This one is BY far the best among them all. I purchased this one in particular to cleanup the cars and it did an AMAZING job. (I cleaned 4 cars just so to be clear, and it did amazing throughout). The parts helped me get to every little edge and corner and the carpet tool worked like a charm. Because of this being corded, I didn't run into the issue of the suction going slow. Overall I am beyond happy with this little thing and Walmart has it at the best price, just FYI!

    flimsy construction but works well when fully charged. Charge doesn't last long. The basket retrieval system for dirt pick-up is poor and doesn't properly fit the machine, also it isa small basket that needs emptying very often. I'd score the Scorpion dirt devil a B-/C .

    Perfect for stairs and messes!
    This hand vac is amazing! We just moved into our new home and the sellers had their home professionally cleaned. We have a carpet runner in the middle of the stairs that I could never haul a vacuum up by myself. This dust vac definitely did the job I was hoping for. It's disgusting that it's filled with dog hair because we don't own a dog and have only lived here a month. The house looked spotless when we moved in. I'm so glad I bought this! The only criticism I have is that I wish the cord was just a little bit longer, but not a huge deal!

    Powerful Multi Use Handheld!
    We LOVE this little handheld vacuum! It works wonders for our stairs and keeps them clean with minimal effort. The brush roll tool is very useful when trying to vacuum the entire stair, not just the step part, as well as the crevice tool for cup holders and in between seats in the car. I don't feel I have to use to much muscle to get it to do it's job and I appreciate that being someone with joint pain!
