Bag Tear
the corner of the bag was torn. I imagine the ones packing did not see it...I like buying these walnuts...the are usually crisp and tasty. you just have to keep in mind that walmart does not always pack and ship things that well..I washed drained and dried them before using

    One of my favorite ingredients
I use a lot of walnuts in my baking and other dishes. I have always liked the quality of Diamond nut products. And they are one of the healthiest nuts we can eat. I also like to buy chopped walnuts...saves a little time in the kitchen

    Love these walnuts
Love these walnuts in salads, in oatmeal, with frozen fruit. So many great ways to add some extra crunch.

Fresh, delicious and a good buy in 16 ounce pack.
Diamond Walnuts have been the premium product since I was a child, and still do not disappoint. Just very good.

Great product at a great price
Ok... I know; they're walnuts already. But when you've tried them all looking for the right balance between quality and price--it's nice to find a real winner! These Diamond of California walnuts are as good as any I've tried, nice and meaty, but fresh and crunchy with great walnut taste. (I've tried others that were crunchy but too dry, and so many that tasted like they were moving into the rancid stage.) These were great tasting, and at a price that beat them all!

    The DIAMOND Standard!
Forgive the pun, but these ARE beyond the GOLD standard! I ALWAYS have a bag or a cardboard can of these in my freezer and my husband and I use them for a lot of things! I use them in my baking -- oatmeal cookies with walnuts and raisins or dried cranberries, loaf cakes as an add-in, even my own take on Irish Soda bread where-in I add walnuts AND dried cranberries or raisins or even dried mixed berries! My husband will take a couple to use in this morning oatmeal along with raisins! These walnuts are consistently plump, fresh and the halves are nearly always just perfectly whole! Hmm...the halves are whole?!? Well, you know what I mean. I know I couldn't shell them that way! While the price has gone up lately, it's still a lot of walnuts for your money and you can trust the value. I wouldn't be without them -- I always purchase the unchopped ones because you can always crush them up if need be, but it's nice to see the whole ones for the quality of them!
