A Terrific little laptop!
I needed a portable Windows laptop and decided on the XPS 9370. I liked its predecessor, the 9360, for port selection, but decided that the newer processor and improved cooling were worth waiting for. The UHD touchscreen is fantastic, rendering in fine detail and rich color. The keyboard is good considering its shallow-travel keys. The touchpad is silky and accurate. The battery life seems very good as well. The biggest challenge is connectivity with older peripherals - you have to get usb type-c devices, use the included usb type-a adapter, or connect wirelessly. But overall, a terrific little laptop for life on the go!

squeeky keys; hot lap
I'll be returning this XPS 13 9370. Several of the keys have a different feel than the rest, the keyboard seems to "hang" for a second before characters appear, even in this "review" box provided by Dell. The backspace key makes an odd squeaking noise. Worst of all, each time I do something, even something so small as open a website like Google's search results, my lap suddenly gets uncomfortably hot. I think I got unlucky on this particular keyboard, but the laptop getting too hot seems to be a design issue. Perhaps I should have gotten the i5 version instead of the i7 to avoid the overheated lap, but I cannot recommend this laptop to anybody who will use it on their lap.

    Buy something else
    The vaunted XPS 13 9370 is a piece of garbage, as far as I am concerned. Bought one two weeks ago, had to replace it with another because a number of keys didn't work. Then had to replace the replacement because the hard drive was defective. Now this one, my third, stops playing sound whenever it feels like it, causing me to have to troubleshoot the sound, reinstall a driver, then restart the piece of junk. It's going back tomorrow for a refund, Thanks, Dell.

    Great computer except connection to Dell 34inch W3514 monitor was unstable
    I like my XPS 13 4k laptop. It has a great built-in screen and powerful processer and 1 TB of SSD. However the connection to my 34 inch dell W3514 monitor sometimes froze the image and required restarting to connect. After to weeks it isn't even connecting via the CEFC hub I bought between the laptop itself only has two C ports and not even a USB 3 port for connections.

    Erratic / Unusable Pointer
    Since I received my laptop I have had occasional episodes of the pointer freezing. Of course, when this happens it renders the computer completely useless. Usually after 30-60 seconds the pointer starts working again, but it often becomes increasing frequent as time goes on until I restart the computer. The issue is super frustrating since I cannot reproduce it. I called Dell tech support and they were really no help at all. I have applied all software and BIOS updates to no avail. It happens when no USB devices are plugged in at all and I am just using the trackpad. It also happens when I have my wireless mouse connected. I fell like it might be a hardware issue but who knows.

    My XPS 9370 review
    So far the screen and form and fit and finish are very good, but sadly the battery life, fan noise, and wifi are extremely disappointing. i'm getting 6 hours on a full charge with basic usage (browsing, minimal Youtube videos, excel, etc). no gaming or anything. plus the fan noise when plugged in is unbearably loud. literally I can still hear it at a busy café. finally, the wifi isn't reliable. these are all concerns ive read about online, but I find it disappointing that it wasn't addressed in the 9370. this will likely be my last XPS purchase, because as much as I love the size and screen, these 3 issues are huge dealbreakers.

    Brilliant little device, but with some issues
    The Dell XPS 13 9370 is a sleek and light laptop, and when it works its a joy to use. However from time to time the machine freezes for a couple of seconds and becomes unusable. After some googling it seemed that the previous model suffered (9360) from the same problems after trying all suggested steps (updating the Video driver, checking if there is a new bios version, updating the M2 SSD driver) the problem still persists. I hope dell will have a solution soon.

    Fan Sounds are incredibly annoying
    I Pretty much bough every xps released from 2016 with all top model specs. Never Had such an annoying fan sound and for a 2500 USD Laptop, this is really bad Dell. Provide an update soon or this is going in the trash and I am discontinuing the dell purchases for me and my company.

    Same as expected
    Great performance but tends to get warm a bit, when it's too warm fans quite loud, and they really nailed the thermal insulation. Since it has a decent CPU and Wi-Fi module, good for work. The build-in speakers doesn't sound bad at all, and the 3.5mm port is always a plus. Keyboard has strong tactile feedback which I fond of. Display, doesn't not support adaptive brightness, at night it will burn your eyes. Shame they didn't include USB type A but it's the trend anyway, I saw complains on this matter which I disapprove, type C will dominate the market sooner or later in terms of performance and durability. Nevertheless, it's not bad for its price for how light, slim, capable it is.

    Great Computer, touchpad a little sporadic
    Love the size, battery life, performance, and appearance of my 9370. It really is a sexy little computer. The touchpad is not as responsive or reliable as I would like it to be. Using one finger the touchpad is responsive and works great. However, when I try and scroll using two fingers, it often clicks on random links or moves sporadically. I turned down the sensitivity and all other "finger" options in the settings but the two-finger scrolling is still frustrating me. Definitely not as responsive as a MacBook or my old HP. I would suggest the engineers at Dell take a look at the touchpad and refine the engineering to make it as seamless and responsive as an Apple device.
