Exceeded my expectations!
This is my favorite gift my daughter got at her birthday party! It works so much better than I imagined, and we made really unique and cool art! She definitely needed assistance to make the art (especially putting the paper on top of the paint swirl and removing it to the drying rack) but she totally was able to add the paint and swirl it and loved it.We didn't wait the 24 hours I put the carrageenan powder (plus a little extra) in a Pyrex measuring vessel, added water I heated in a kettle, stirred for a bit, and then strained out the undissolved chunks. It worked fine that way!

marbling with 1 color
All colors except orange were completely dried up. not much marbling you can do with one color. we had to prepare for it the day before and my daughter was so excited to do this and you can imagine her disappointment when all the colors were empty and dry.

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/09/2022Warning- takes 2 daysWasn't able to do this craft. They didn't warn in description or on box that you have to take steps the day before u want to do this with your kids. Kids were super disappointed. Would not recommend.MamaBear3

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser06/04/2022Ok, but plan on 2 days.It was disappointing that the prep for this project had to be done 24 hours in advance and I didn't see it in description or reviews. Probably my fault. But be prepared for that or you'll end up with a super upset kid.Stephanie Bonadio

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/31/2022Interesting productProduct is interesting, and the size is little bit smaller than expected. Need to prepare a day ahead before playing. Only 10 papers to transfer the art, that is really not enough.Kyrene

1.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser05/09/202224 hr prep, not washable!Messy, poor results, does not transfer to paper well! You have to prep the water/gel 24 hours prior and the paints are not washable which is unacceptable for how messy this project is. My nieces liked the way the paint looked in the water but were disappointed with the way it turned out on the paper.Ryan L.Ryan L.

3.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser01/21/2022Underwhelming and a bit frustratingI saved this project to do with my 5 and 7 year old grandkids. We followed the directions exactly but didn't get great results. The paint colors (other than orange) seemed to sink to the bottom , not spread out on top of the solution. So most of the pictures were orange with a few splotches or streaks of other colors. We tried to stir the other colors up but it didn't help much. Because the paint sunk, we ran out of paint pretty fast and didn't even use all the paper. It was kind of a dud.Wisco reviewer

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/13/2021Fun activityMy 3 year old girl needed some help when transfering on the canvas but she loved it and even transfered some all by herself. I may get the larger kit next time to have more paint and more canvas sheets. I think the larger kit from the same brand comes with the pre-mixed ready to use liquid/gel medium.Shany ThompsonShany Thompson

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/30/2021Fun processOnly thing 6 year olds could do was drop and swirl the paint. Finally got to where they could put their own paper on top of the water but couldnt get it off without making a BIG mess. And thats all ok. Just be prepared for it. Pictures were better than expected and looked great when wet but dried as you would expect wet paper to dry - almost crunchy. The process was fun but doubt if my grandchildren's pictures will be kept very long.Lyddie
