well-made, just like the original!
This is a very good air rifle for the money and it is also very accurate. I didn't have to alter the sights at all. For plinking out in the back yard, it's perfect. It's also a great rifle to teach a young shooter. It is not as powerful as some of the break-barrel or CO2 rifles but for target practice that should not be an issue.

Don't waste your money
Well a lot of people here say they are satisfied but I know they can't be. There is nothing good about this gun except wood stock. No power No accuracy the two must haves Seriously I wouldn't waste my money on it just kick in $20 more and get you something with no regret. If Walmart won't take it back to exchange for a better more expensive one then I will be even more dissatisfied with this purchase

    Strong FPS and fun to use.
    Awesome bb gun. The pump action is so easy to use and velocity is strong that it makes a big dent on tin cans. Really fun to use.

    Fun purchase
    Lots of fun. I shot it about 150 times before I could put it down. Made me feel 40years younger! Puts a pretty decent dent in steel soup cans at 15paces. Shoots through 1 side of a beer can at that same distance, and sometimes through the other. I'd say its around 300fps based off of my experiences. That power level can easily be deadly to birds so its no toy. Accurate out of box too. Maybe 2" right but dead on up/down Good to sting mean tomcat rear without killing them.

    For adult much fun at little expense. 1500 holes
    Adult sized for 75 year old kid at heart! With a few mods shot above average for built in China anything. Sorry front sight. Came with front sight bent to right about 30 thousands and needed to to line up with bore. Poor Q.C.

    Ordering and delivery were superb, as is this rifle for plinking. Pump action is solid; delivery of pellet to target powerful enough and accurate. Have ordered three.

    No return on a BB GUN. NOT A FIRE ARM!
    I'm very disappointed with Walmart. My bad for assuming if I didn't like the purchase I could return as I've done before. Found out at customer service your policy doesn't allow returns of FIRE ARMS. Now I'm stuck trying to sell on Craigslist. Never again.

    Fun to shoot
    But it lacks accuracy with very little chance of improving it. However it still is a fun gun to knock over cans and such from about 10 yards. Just remember your target must be big and light as this rifle only shoots about 300fps in actuality

    Good and accurate BB gun
    This BB gun is well made, sturdy and fun to shoot. It's quiet and has decent power for target shooting at 50 feet. Oil it when you get it and it will perform well. It will also help if you have reasonable expectations knowing this is a BB gun. If power is your thing, go with a pellet gun. The Model 25 will kill small varmints if needed but it's strong suit is plinking and scarring unwanted critters from the back yard. I think a 10 year old may have trouble operating the pump mechanism but a 12 yr old should do well. Get one for your child, and one for you.

    don't expect high power just high quality
    I have an older model 25, this new one is better. Instead of a painted design on it they rolled stamped the design in now and instead of a plastic stock and grip it's wood now and they made it easier to line up the barrel feed tube over all its a better rifle than my older one. The only thing I like about my older one is that it's made in America vs China. If your expecting a high power rifle with this gun your going to be disappointed your better off getting a more expensive pellet rifle. If you're looking for something that has a nice nostalgic feel and is accurate to about 30' for picking off soda cans in the backyard this is perfect. People that bash this rifle buy this rifle with the wrong intent and wrong expectations, do your research and buy the rifle that meets you needs. For me this rifle is awesome.
