Solid Table, Great extra features
Table was heavy (340 lbs.) and requires at least 2 adults to move and flip over once assembled. However the weight of it contributes to it's solidness. The lights and sounds are definitely cool. There were a few "dead spots" but many of the reviews I read of other similarly priced tables, had "dead spots" too. In one review I read, I seem to recall that someone "fixed" this by poking a pin in the holes, at some point I will try this. My wife and I purchased it for our family Christmas gift after we both had looked on-line or hours reading reviews and comments of many different tables. We were able to move it (using a hand-truck) to our basement where I assembled it over the course of a few days. She also helped me flip it over once I assembled it (she's a strong girl, which helped). I'm glad I assembled it before Christmas for the WOW factor when the kids (ages 6 & 8) saw it. It took about 6 hours or so to assemble. Only a few of the screws were able to be screwed in using a power screw gun, the rest required a small screwdriver - my fingers were a little sore for a few days. The assembly directions are mostly pictures with very little explanation, but were sufficient. I am fairly handy, so assembly was not difficult for me but I don't know if it would be difficult or not for someone that isn't as mechanically inclined. Overall, we are very pleased with it so far. It is well worth the money and work required to assemble it.

Quality of Construction is Inferior
This is a nice table but not the quality I expected for the price. The mitered corners don't fit together well and detract from the appearance of the table. We had difficulty getting the lights and scoring to work correctly.

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser11/12/2013Good air hockey table but cumbersome to assemble.A nice table for the higher end recreational player or home use. Construction is mediocre. Made in China from 100 percent particle board/compressed wood. Heavy (about 300lbs). Directions for assembly are very cursory. I am we'll versed in construction and used all power tools to assemble. It took about 4 hours. Without power tools it would easily take 8 hrs to assemble. There are over 200 nuts, bolts, screws, etc. Overall, compared to what's out there for the price...it's reasonable and would recommend it.1BruinsFan

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser03/20/2013Table is awesome, love it!For some reason i assumed it would be put together more than what was delivered, but the labor was pretty easy. This table is the real deal, im glad i spent the extra for a larger unit. Delivery was fast and i am very pleased. The puck moves with ease, no stopping if your wondering:)Craig

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser09/26/2009Real DealJust bought this product and me and my family love it. Its take several hours to put together but it is worth it. Product is very heavy and it going to take at least two people to turn it on its right side. Game could also use a little more air flow because it has a few dead spots in the center, but for the price you can't beat it. I would recommend this game if you have the space for it and the muscle to move it around.Piike

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser07/19/2009GREAT ValuePROS: I did LOT of searching, product comparisons, review analyzing, and price-shopping. In the end, this air hockey table from WalMart was simply the best value for a fabulous table. The LED score tracking rails are a hoot. The electronic scoring works well. The table is heavy-duty and very sturdy. Hockey play is fast and smooth. CONS: At 350 pounds, I had to hire a moving company to haul the thing from Wal-Mart to the house. Yes, WalMart would have delivered it to the house, but I also needed it hauled upstairs to the game room. I had all the required screws and parts... and there were a LOT of them. Assembly was simple but not easy. Took a couple of hours. Took four people to flip the table upright after assembling upside down. The single fan-motor works well and the puck glides easily... especially after polishing with a little Pledge. I really wish there was a second blower just to give the glide a little more "edge". SUMMARY: I would recommend this table to anybody and everybody interested in a hockey table... and from WalMart because of the great value.GameRoomTexas

4.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/30/2008Great choice !Great hockey table. Terrific sounds and flashing lights. A bit time consuming to put together and an INCREDIBLY heavy box. Need at least two strong people to move box and put it together. We used 4 people to turn it over once assembled.sjb

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser12/25/2008Excellent AdditionIt defnitely requires 2 person setup. This table is durable and will last. No doubts. Playing surface is outstanding. No dead spot or warping. Puck travels fast with good action off the side boards. Electronic scoring is more accurate than I was expecting.sawmill555
