Nice safe
Safe is exactly what I was looking for. Keep guns locked up and safe from kids. Room for other valuables. Sturdy. Plus recommend this safe to anyone looking to keep guns and ammo in a safe spot but not break the bank

I guess you get what you pay for. I had the safe shipped and when it arrived I looked at the packaging for damage. There were a few torn parts on the box but it looked well packaged. After I opened the box I looked over the front of the safe and noticed that the weld on the bottom hinge side was broken. This caused the safe to become out of square and the door would not shut without lifting and kicking the corner. DO NOT BUY!!! The worst part was trying to return it. Instead of waiting about 3-4 weeks I decided to go directly to Walmart and return. It's not fun dragging a 250lb safe into a store. I needed a safe so I went down the street to Dicks Sporting Goods and spent about $50 more but a better quality safe.

    Very disappointed!!!
    bought two of these. Unfortunately one had a dent right in the front. No idea if it left Jet that way or the shipper. Either way it looks bad. I bought one of these last year and it nice molded holder for the guns that screwed to the walls. These came with foam that sticks to the wall. What a major disappointment. Foam is really supposed to keep guns form moving around. Very disappointed. We'll see if Jet wants to do anything about the dented one......

    Great safe for the price
    I am very happy with the Stack-on safe. It was delivered in perfect condition. It was reasonably priced, built solidly, and easy to setup. Setting up your own security pin is simple and straight forward. It comes with two physical keys that can be used if you forget the pin. It also comes with hardware to enable you to bolt it to the floor if you select to do so. It took about twenty days to receive it from the time I placed the order. The delivery company placed it in my garage. My son and I easily moved it by hand down the stairs into the basement.

    Terrific for the price
    Perfect for the price. The door is not as pry-resistant as a more expensive/higher quality. My use is merely for saftey from children (mine included) and a secure place for firearms storage. The key pad was simple to program. Its more than adequate for an abundance of long guns & shelf system is basic but dependable.

    Great value for the $
    This is not a high end gun safe. There are cheap shelves and cheap carpet. That said I think it will do a fantastic job of slowing down the bad guys. There are only two holes in the bottom for attaching it to the floor, I wish there were one in each corner. I may have to fix that. This is NOT a fire rated safe. The sides are just steal and a fiber board coating that is maybe 1/4" thick. For the sale price of $380, this is a great deal in my opinion.

    Meets my needs
    Shippers tracking system is broke, never did acknowledge even having the product. Positive side was that the product did arrive earlier than projected. Arrived with some damage but not enough to prevent use and I needed it immediately, so I did not want to wait for a replacement.

    This safe is perfect for my needs.
    I'm not concerned about fireproof. I'm not concerned that it may not take a safecracker or an acetylene torch to open it. I needed security, function and portability. I wanted a safe that would house all of my firearms, ammo, valuables and important papers and this has all the features I wanted. This safe was delivered for free, arrived a week early, was delivered totally free of damage and worked exactly as I expected. The electronic lock was simple to program and the overall quality of the safe is admirable, especially given the price. There wasn't a single paint chip missing or dent to be found. The felt lining was all intact and neatly applied. All hardware was complete. I had to move this up 2 flights of stairs with a turn/landing and would've never been able to get one of those 700 lb monsters up. I'm sure someone could bust this thing open if they really wanted to, but it's going to take some work. No "smash and grab" is going to occur with this safe, my household will be totally safe when children come through and all of my stuff is in one secure and convenient place. This isn't a Browning, but if that's what you expect or desire, go shuck out your 1500 clams up front and buy a Browning, then hire a team of mules to help you move it. This safe is perfectly suited for my needs!

    Middle-of-the-road safe
    This is an entry-level safe. Don't fool yourself into thinking it will stop a determined thief. The exterior of the safe looks nice. The issues I have with the safe are all internal. The interior is made from materials that look and feel cheap. The welds inside the safe are not great. The wooden shelves (which are made of thin particle board) are covered in a thin layer of felt and held in place by plastic brackets. When I received the safe, some of the felt was coming off the shelves, so I had to glue it back in place. The felt carpet on the floor of the safe was not fitted very well; I had to press it into place. Overall, the interior fit and finish of the safe is mediocre. After about one week, the electronic lock stopped functioning properly. It had a faulty solenoid (which is part of the locking mechanism) inside the door. I called Stack-On. They honored the warranty and they sent me a new solenoid. Customer Service was friendly and helpful. My only complaint with the new solenoid was that I had to replace it myself...that took my time and my tools. If you buy one of these, buy it from a store where you can see the actual safe. Look carefully at the exterior for chipped or scratched paint. Look at the materials on the inside of the safe.

    Dont waste your time...
    Im completely disappointed. Mine didnt come with the needed shelf clips to install the other 4 shelves that were in the safe. Also pre drilled holes didnt line up with the trimmed out piece of fire resistant material, and last but not least, found a 4 inch crack along seam of door flange and part of door that locks. When i pull on door flange the crack opens up, i can only imagine how easily a crowbar could rip this thing open. Complete junk. Now i have to repackage it and drag it back to the store to get my money back. Ive already ordered a Cannon safe two times the price, but 2 times the weight and strength. I guess you get what you pay for.....
