Homemade ice cream goodness in less tgan 30 minute
As a kid i loved homemade ice cream. The job of cleaning up after was a problem. with this device clean up is quick and the ice cream brings back so many delicious memories!

Pricey “in my opinion”
I'd give it 5 stars except for the fact I needed to adjust the recipe to less milk, and the (condiments don't come work very well when using them More like a toy) my tip is-freeze the bowl longer than specified. Thank you

    Pure Indulgence Ice Cream Maker - Oh So Fabulous!
    I've made lots and lots of homemade ice cream since I was little - mostly with ice, rock salt, and electric churns, but I also used a hand churn when I was young. I'd have to babysit the churn if I wanted it to freeze quickly and the noise of the electric churn and ice/rock salt was, well, irritating. Cuisinart has hit this one out of the park! The Pure Indulgence 2 Qt Frozen Yogurt-Sorbet & Ice Cream Maker worked perfectly and was quiet! I made strawberry cheesecake ice cream that was oh so fabulous!

    This Ice Cream Maker Is The Real Deal
    Great machine, does what it's supposed to do; churns ice cream mixture into soft serve ice cream; then freeze, remove from freezer and place container of ice cream on countertop at room temp for 15 minutes before enjoying. You control what goes into the mixture, thus what you get out of it. Put it in this context, we're a family of 6 adults and we're consistent, avid ice cream lovers whon always have various pints of ice cream in our freezer. I purchased the machine more than three weeks ago and haven't bought brand name ice cream from the supermarket since the 2 quart arrived at my home. I'll never buy store-bought ice cream again. Nothing tastes like homemade ice cream churned from ingredients that you decide go into your ice cream, not someone else. I know exactly what's in my ice cream and there are no fillers, additives or preservatives. Look at the ingredients on the high-end ice you're buying at your local grocer and you'll be surprised, not the good variety of surprise either. Nothing like real strawberry or vanilla ice cream made with Nielsen-Massey Madagascar Vanilla Extract. My personal favorite is vanilla ice cream with the addition of halved blackberries, added at the last 5 minutes of churning, mind-blowing. Also, do yourself a favor. I purchased a second, 2 quart cannister so I can churn one gallon of ice cream in one sitting (2 processes) in one day, instead of waiting a day for the cannister to re-freeze again. It takes a good 24 hours for it to freeze adequately. Anybody wondering, no I wasn't paid or comp-ed to write this. I love this machine and I'm just a satisfied customer. My only regret, not pulling the trigger much sooner and making this move years earlier, bc it's less expensive to make your own and soooo much better than store bought ice cream, for real. Go with the 2 quart model

    How did I live without it?
    I have not purchased a carton of store-bought ice cream since I got this ice cream freezer! It's so simple to use, and it only takes 25 minutes. Countless friends and relatives have purchased this freezer after eating my homemade ice cream. I should get a commission (lol)! And by the way, I've also used it to make frose...

    Fun Family Time, Great Machine
    I love this machine so much that I bought a second one just so that we could make 2 flavors at the same time! I've discovered that the recipes that come with it are not very good, so I started buying the commercial mixes. I use 2 cups of powder with 2 cups water and 2 cups milk. The secret to a good batch is to make sure the freezer bowl has been frozen for at least 24 hours, and once you mix up a batch it needs to be refrigerated for several hours before putting it in your machine. The soft serve is usually ready in 12-15 minutes. We had one batch that turned out like milkshakes and wouldn't firm up. I figured out that the bowl had not been frozen long enough. and the mix had not been chilled long enough. It was very good as a milkshake and the kids requested to have it again. I found that the mix in sprinkles work just fine as long as you follow instructions and put the tiny ones in the front container and the larger ones in the back 2 containers. I make up the mix and pour it into the machine then when it's ready the kids serve themselves adding in sprinkles as they want. The light in their eyes and the giggles make it worth every penny. The only things I don't like about this machine is that the lid is hard to get off. There are 2 buttons to push at the same time to release it and they are in an awkward position. There is an opening to pour in the mix and view it while it is churning. I would like a clear plastic cover over it.

    Ice cream easy
    Super easy to use. We've tried simple recipes, and more complex recipes. All have had great success! It's a little loud, but so are the old crank machines. Love this one.

    I bought this about a month ago and I love it. My grandchildren like to help me make the ice cream. It makes enough for several ice cream cones and bowls of ice cream. I love that the sprinkles come out with the ice cream.
