Perfect for HedgeHogs and Hamsters that burrow
It's perfect. our hedgehog loves it, it doesn't stick to his prickles lol. he actually comes out of his house way more, it's soft and we don't have to worry about him getting dust in his eyes. Thank you for coming up with this, it's just like newspaper but it obsorbes so much better.

BAD SMELL
I have been using this product for years with no problems. The past several bags have had a foul odor to them. I thought maybe it was just a bad bag, but now every bag I buy has that same foul odor. It smells like there is a dead mouse in the bag.

    I have had my hamster for a few months now and I have been using care fresh but I live really far from pet stores so I decided to try out this brand and it is super hard and smells horrible and it's really dusty

    never again will i buy
    had to use this because what i wanted was out of stock.. never again. ita dusty very duaty and on top of tgat had big clumps that look like dryer lint you would just ge ouy of ur dryer..

    Bedding is a pretty color but definitely on the rougher side. has some larger pieces I couldn't even break apart due to the consistency. Almost like it got wet, stuck together and dried. I did not notice any bad odor like other reviewers.

    The texture and thickness is great. It is less messy than other types of bedding, guinea pigs are very active and can be somewhat messy.

    Soft and comfy!
    My rats love it! Its cozy for there little paws and they even sleep on it, which never happened with wood shavings! I love that it expands that much, you really get your money's worth. For a 12 liter pack I can go on for months changing the bedding every 6-7 days. It's quite cheap also, it's just so worth it, for them as much as for us!
