Brighten up your record collection!
I already had this album, but I saw this and had to have it! The album has the same track lineup as my old 1970s version, but I love the way the colors swirl together, plus it even has the classic Fantasy label, where my original copy does not! It's a trip watching these discs spin on the turntable! I even had somebody ask me if those were actual vinyl records because you can see light through them! LOL I think this set will become collectible, too. I can imagine that, because of the way the colors are swirled, no two albums will have the same designs, either. Thanks, Wal-Mart, for literally brightening up my massive record collection!

Great music - bad pressing
I had the same issue others have had. Side 2 skips at numerous spots. This must be a flaw in the pressing. I exchanged twice and had the same exact issue on each copy.

    Great pressing, but edges need to be smoothed.
    Amazing packaging and colored pressing! The edges of the actual LPs themselves are rather rough and not smoothed, which seems like it should have been an easy thing to do. This rough edges issue is only an aesthetic one, and doesn't hurt the sound quality.

    This album is a favorite, but on side b of the second album the sound seems to fade in and out some... still a great album.

    Great Record!
    I grew up listening to CCR with my dad and when I saw this I jumped at the chance to listen. Shipped and arrived really quickly, packaged nicely and the variant is just beautiful! I have nothing like it in my collection. I didn't notice any skipping like other reviews but I do think it might be the pressing.

    Great first experience.
    I am rediscovering my record collection, and this album was one I did not have. I am very impressed with the limited edition idea marketed by Walmart. I am not a perfectionist as to all the subtle sounds expected from a vinyl disc. I have a pretty decent sound system that should expose flaws if there are any. I'll edit this review if there are glaring weaknesses. The records arrived in perfect condition.

    We have started collecting these and love the Walmart exclusive ones. I just think the fun colors just add a little extra. Sound is pretty good on the colored vinyl. We has purchased the Crosley portable record player and they play well on it. We look forward to purchasing more of the Walmart exclusive vinyl records

    Bad sound Quality
    Not for Audiophiles. Sound quality is very compressed and there's a bit of bad distortion especially in the vocals. I even compared it side-by-side to a Lossless Digital version of the album. I dont think it was bad because of the color. I think it was the pressing. So I'm pretty sure all exclusive re-pressings of this at different store are all the same Master. It's a shame the quality was bad, I love CCR and this color looked super cool. If you want to just have this because ita on vinyl then its worth it. But not worth it if you plan on listening to it and quality is a concern
