Great ladder
Bought this ladder to install ceiling fans, cabinetry, and suspended garage storage units in our new home. We have 9' 4" ceilings and this ladder was the perfect height. Love the handle too. Sturdy and expect it to last many years.

Has minor issues
I'm a 37 yr exp. pro painter. Half the gallon paint can is just half hidden under the top piece is a huge issue,a pro painter does not just straight down dip his brush and pull it straight out,it as if a person that never painted before designed the tray, meaning you now are forced to hold your paint gallon can, they were 3.5 inches away from good engineering. Only step type ladder ever that they tries to buck you each time you reach you hands above your head. I'm working above expensive tile floors, but it does slip some on carpet to . One has to stretch legs apart that extra inch or the ladder will buck that tiny bit ,as you are holding your paint can . I have learned to climb the ladder ,lean my belly against the top piece and kick the back legs back using my knees and feet ,and you feel it move then you are fine the entire time, if in your day you move your ladder 150 times, then you need to kick those legs out the 150 times.I'm only able to kick the legs if standing on the step below platform. It only flexes like this because braces are 2/3 rd up the ladder, rather than 1/2 way, so those thin long legs have a one inch flex or bend for a 170 pound person.. The ladder has 2 open positions ,the one it opens to, and the one it stretches to,which is an inch further. Last issue, those of you living your day on the ladder might not like the feeling in your leg if your leaning into it .They rounded the front and back edge of each step, where as they should have coped the wide flat front on the conventional aluminum step ladders, rounded means only the 1/4 inch of step front lays into you. Boney fronts of your legs lean against all day,and by rounding, your feet feel less flat placed, and feet in proper boots feels the" lesser foot area" ,as if each step is 3/4 inch less ,even though the steps measure a 1/4 more . All ladders have unique dangers and quirks ,I still gave it 4 stars because its built well , I like the handle, and if it were an outside ladder I doubt it could buck/shift as when I do 13 ft ceiling with it, I'm 6'1" and that max reach holding edge of Purdy brush. So it is still worth owning and worth the price, I paid $141 . Instead of a ladder that was going to alter my paint business, lol its just another one of 5 ladders I bring to a job, so it good enough for a seasoned professional. 3 of my ladders are platform ladders, only at one height do you get to stand on the platform, half the time your on a lesser step. Its truly wonderful if your able to work while on the platform

    Eight foot ladder
This Ladder is very strong and sturdy I feel safe on the top step it has two shelves for paint and tools easy to carry it has a very strong suitcase style handle on one side to carry when folded and I carry it like that it locks in the open position with a powerful lock and the ladder does not twist when you lean out while standing on it great value shipped for free to my front door totally happy with this purchase.

    Nice ladder
This ladder is exactly what I needed. Lightweight with carry handle. Size big enough not to be too big. Great for changing light bulbs or paddle fan cleaning.

    Great ladder!
I bought this ladder for working on 11ft. ceilings and it is perfect. I like the single hand folding capability and the lightweight construction. The top step is a wide platform step witch is great for safety and stability.

    Easy to Use
Very light weight and sturdy. I used it right away to clean the gutters. I'm a 68-year-old woman and could easily move the ladder around the house to complete the job.

Good ladder for high selling house
Mine is high selling house, using this ladder I was able reach and clean the a/c vent, change bulbs in holder, clean exhaust fan etc. good quality and steady and weight less and easy to handle - Sears was asking for $90 extra for shipping fee but Walmart did for free shipping. Excellent Service !!!

    Good ladder but it's heavy.
I bought this ladder to reach my 12-foot ceilings. Great ladder with a tray for holding items and also the very top step is like a little tray so you can use it to hold things as well. But this ladder is heavy. I think if I had tried it in the store and realized how heavy it is, I would not have bought it. I will be returning it.

    Great Ladder
We have used a 4' ladder by COSCO for years. Now that our home has 12" ceilings we found we needed something taller to clean fan blades and windows - this is just the ticket. My wife can lift it and it is very stable. Good value for the money.

    Very Safe ladder
Great ladder. Easy to carry. Easy to set up. Safe To stand on with large platform. I now own a 2-step, a 3-step, a 4-step, and a 6-step cosco ladder.
