The felt finger protection is worthless! There's nothing to grip one's hair. I have shoulder-length hair and could not get anything to work. This MAY be better for long hair if you only wanted the ends done. Still, the 3 finger felt protection provided for 3 fingertips is worthless! Had to return and purchase a "regular" curling iron with a hair gripper built in.

    I really love this curling iron except for one thing, the buttons are in the wrong place and you can accidentally turn it off while you're trying to use it.

    Disappointed.
    Did not work upon arrival. Intermittent on and off. Make sure you understand this does not come with a "clamp" to roll around your hair. Will be returning.

    Fast Curls
    This Conair curling wand is great. It heats up fast, and curls my hair very well. The only issue is that the control buttons are easily turned off when I hold the wand in place in my hair. I typically shut it off accidentally three times each day. Not a huge issue, just worth noting.

    I really like it!!!
    Ive never had a curling wand before but I wanted something to make my hair curly but not to much to the point of tight rings. This works so good and the settings are perfect for my hair so I don't over heat my hair. Love it and it was extremely affordable plus it doesn't leave those crimp marks in your curls from a clamp!

    Love it!
    I'm not good at curling hair so i wanted just a "cheap wand" to practice with. This thing is actually pretty great. No complaints at all. My hair doesn'r normally hold curl very well but it held all day with just a little hair spray.
