Goodbye cleaners
I've always known Conair to be a great & popular brand but I didn't expect them to make a fabric steamer. One of the best ideas I've known yet! This is really a winner! I hate to rush in the mornings have to wake up an hour early just to earn my collar blouse and slacks. This Conair fabric steamer gets me prepared for the week in less than an hour. This really saves time in the mornings when you're getting ready for work and getting the kids ready for school. The steamer is small and doesn't take up a lot of space for storage which I love. Overall it gets the job done!

Still Wrinkly
I was very excited to give this product a try. I absolutely hate ironing and thought this would be a good option to keep in my closet and release wrinkles from my clothing instead of ironing. It will not replace your iron. I used it on a very mildly wrinkled pair of pants and there was barely a difference at all. It was hard to fill in the sink because of the angle of the spout. The cord is too short and you are not supposed to lift the base off the floor. I don't know that I have any use for this product at all. I will try it a few more times on other fabric, but this is by no means an iron replacement or even quick solution.

    This fabric steamer is super cool. I had always seen them in the dress shops and I liked how the girls iron the elegant dresses for parties .. It is very comfortable to iron suits, dresses any garment even to the curtains of my house, and is super practical and much better to use an iron board . Has the ability to heat quickly, the instructions are very clear. It comes with the space to store the hose and the hook. I like it because it gives me 40 minutes of continuous heating. the best thing is that it comes with a door hanger so it doesn't take up space. In the instructions says that it also kills dust mites ans bedbugs, for that I have not had any in my house so I could not prove that. very good quality at a better price. I recommend it I am very happy with this product.

    Good for infrequent use
    I received the Conair Commercial Quality Compact Fabric Steamer to give it a try to see what I think. I like this for specific, continuous tasks like curtains as there is no on/off trigger for as you work. It is either ON or OFF. When you turn it OFF you have to wait for it to start back up. It does start up pretty quickly and the amount I filled it depended on what I was going to steam. This is not easy when doing individual garments, the stopping and starting. You get some dribbling. If it's on it just continues to spew steam. There is a hanging hook (shown in my photo) this is handy for setting it aside when doing garments, Because you can't set it down/downwards of you will get dribbles. I steamed my new curtains to remove folds while they were hanging and did all the windows took a bit, but worked great. We also used it to do a wedding veil, gown, all the bridesmaid dresses and Mother of the bride dress. You need to be careful with beading or any other embellishments. It comes with a clip- like the ones on a curling iron to make creases, but I have not tried that yet. It is a very serviceable steamer for infrequent use, but if you are planning on daily use I would upgrade a bit.

    Excelent steamer!
    I am writing this review on the Conair GS61R Commercial Quality Compact Fabric Steamer. I think this is a great steamer. It's small and portable. And it is easy to use. It comes with a hanger hook that easily attaches to any door. It also comes with a crease attachment. The hose was a bit rigid out of the box, but as the instructions mentioned, it softened up and became more pliable after the first use. I have also been using this on my curtains around the house. I like the size of it. My previous one was a bit big and bulky to take around the house for doing my curtains. I highly recommend this steamer!

    Works well once it heats up.
    I like this little fabric steamer. It works well for quick touch-ups on collars or pockets or whatever you would need a steamer for. I just think it takes a little too long to heat up. It only takes a couple of minutes but it seems to me that it should be ready to go in under a minute. That's the reason why I gave it four stars instead of five stars. The hose seems very stiff when you first get it but once the steam goes through it really loosens up and works quite well.

    Great for school or work mornings!
    This is very handy! It's great for school or work mornings when you're in a hurry or special occasions. No more dragging out an ironing board to look sharp! It really is so simple to use that you can steam the wrinkles out quickly and effectively, even in a hurry. I keep it in my bedroom for steaming my daughter's school clothes. The door hook is a nice feature so you don't have to look for a place to hang the clothes. It's very compact so it takes up little space. I personally hate ironing so this is great for me! I can steam the clothes the night before and leave them on the hook and they're ready for the next day. Or I can quickly do it even on hectic mornings. The crease attachment is good for my husband's work slacks or dressier clothes. Did I mention I hate ironing?! There isn't really any assembly required, just snapping the hose on. The user manual instructions are very clear as well. There was a little gurgling in the hose but that is normal. As long as you follow the instructions you shouldn't have any issues. I'm very pleased with it and definitely recommend it! A must have for busy moms!

    Great and small to storage steamer. Nice to have this home. 40 minute continuous steam time. Conair brand. Lightning on and off has a door handle. Smoothes the wrinkles and freshness the clothes. Plus has 1200 watts. comes with a menu book.

    Small compact steamer but gets the job done!
    I absolutely love this steamer!!! It's everything I could have hoped for in a steamer. It is small but don't let that fool you - it is very powerful. It heats up pretty fast and you can start steaming in roughly five minute! As for drainage I read that it was hard to do so I simply remove the hose and let it steam out. I also store it without the hose/nozzle connected to it. I use the garment hanger (included) to store the hose and nozzle (hang it) so if there's any water left in the base it will evaporate. Not only is it great for clothes (my son loves to use it!) but it works well on my curtains to get the wrinkles out and it even cleaned a spot on the sofa!

    It will do!!!
    This is not what I expected it to be. It holds about 3 glasses Of water. It takes about 3 minutes to warm up. It does NOT Give off alot of steam which what I expected it to do. I began Steaming just cotton shirts first as I didnt want to run the nicer Fabrics. It surprisingly worked well and quickly. After a few of those Shirts I tried a satin dress and it again performed quickly and well. I messed With it for at least 30 minutes before I turned it off and it still had half the Liquid so in one setting you should be able to get alot done. You do have to Keep it on floor and the hose on over the door hanger clip in order to get the Best steam possible.
