big, well-insulated cooler
I needed a big, well-insulated cooler for a six-day trip, and this one worked perfectly. I still had a decent amount of ice left when I got home. The only concern is that it’s too big to store in some of the bear boxes I encountered in California.

Questionable Structure
I bought this cooler for a family camping trip - after relatively good reviews I bought 2 on sale. They arrive just in time for camping only to find that one was perfect and the other one had a weird plug on the bottom (like a giant piggy bank) the inside seemed to be sound but I questioned why someone would put a plug in it and glue it back together and sell it as a "new" item. I called and complained and they shipped me a new one (that never got to me) I went camping with the strange one and it seemed to be okay. Held things cold, ice lasted longer than most coolers and seemed to function fine. Got back from camping to the new one - also stupid plug on the bottom. I am very curious the longevity due to this "flaw" but over all a good product

    Won't stay open
It took forever for it to get here and the lid won't stay open on its own. Other than that it's a decent cooler.

    Cool cooler
I packed the restless children in at new York, and unpacked them in Florida two days later. They were well rested and had the perfect about of water to drink from the slightly melted ice only due to their body temperatures. Driving the coast was never more enjoyable for us Adults! Two cups of hot chocolate and the wee tykes were ready to go. Yeah!! Great product.

    Great Cooler, Great price
It was $22 when I got it, my 10 year+ old one is pretty beat up from falling off a truck a couple summers ago. When I saw the price on this one I decided to replace the old one. Keeps ice for several days in 90 degree weather.

    Well built and priced right!
I purchased this cooler from Walmart's website (delivery-to-store & pickup) for about $25 including sales tax. This cooler appears to be well built - the handles are sturdy - the lid closes tightly - the lid hinges are heavy-duty plastic and there are 4 Phillips-head screws in each hinge that secure it to the body and the lid itself. If the hinges to ever wear out, I'll bet that Coleman sells a pair of hinges as replacements - to swap 'em out if needed would take all of 5 minutes. The cooler is well-insulated and keeps ice for 2-3 days (not sitting out in the sun in 100-degree weather, of course!). All in all, I am VERY satisfied with this Coleman cooler and I researched alot of 'em (reading user reviews & comparing specs).

    Best cooler for the price
I live in florida. We keep this cooler in the garage, no AC. Its hot here during the summer time. Ice lasts 4 days in this cooler. Very happy with this product!!! I will be buying another one sometime soon. The photo i posted here is day 4.

    Great cooler
Tough cooler, holds ice very well. Drain plug is better since cooler doesn't need to be tilted to drain. Great price rounds it out.

    2 weeks after having cooler...
I used this cooler for 10 days and the screws in one of the hinges came out. The holes ended up being completely stripped. I would have thought there would have been some sort of anchor that you would screw into but I was wrong. I have always purchased Coleman coolers and I swear by them. I can see constant use causing this problem but after ten days is unacceptable in my book. I fixed the cooler because these are kind of pricey to purchase. I just hope this was a fluke because I purchased 3 others just like it.

    Acceptable product for the price.
Keeps things cold on camping trips for days when packed smartly. Cup holders are a useless feature that should be eliminated so that full insulation in the cooler top is provided. The cup holders are best at collecting dirt on camping trips, but we carry on. The top does not have as snug of a fit as desired, but wouldn't want it to be too difficult to open either. Not the most rugged cooler, but should hold up with decent care. Overall, functional and a good form factor for us.
