Chubby puppies are a good buy
I got this item for my niece that's almost 4. She enjoyed playing with it for several hours. I like the item because it has several additional kits you can buy to add hopefully more hours of fun.

Danger!
Cute toy but if you have a child with hair don't buy it!!! My 4 year old daughters hair got tangled up and it wrapped about 3 inches of hair in its front legs and had to cut off her tangled hair it would have sucked up more hair had my child's uncle not shut it off in time! Reminds me of the baby alive product recall many years ago where it ate kids hair! Package states for ages 4 and up!

    If you want a haircut...
    So my 5 year old daughters got this yesterday and today her hair got caught in it. She cried because it hurt a lot and i couldnt get it out anymore and hadn't to cute it off. Not great!

    Not Just for Girls
    My 5 yr old son had spied these on several pre-Christmas visits to the store and always stopped to play with the displays. We bought the playground, the tunnel, and an extra puppy. We didn't want to get the huge set and have him lose interest in a couple days. He still plays with his CP set and has seen the new, hard to find, "Shimmer" pup on a YouTube video. So of course he wants that one, too. He doesn't play with them all the time, preferring Lego first and foremost, but he does enjoy the Chubby Puppies. They are noisy and the set doesn't stay together well on carpet.

    Watch Out!
    Same here, my 5 year old daughter loves this thing but it keep getting tangled in her hair. Tip: We just tell her not to turn it on unless her hair is in a ponytail.
