Red Sockeye Salmon
This red sockeye salmon is wonderful!!!!! It is full of proteins and omega three. We love the taste and it makes great salmon croquettes. The only thing I don't care for is having to clean the salmon when it comes out of the can. I remove the skin and bones. It is a truly awesome product otherwise and I hope Walmart's continue to carry this product!!!!!

Never again!
I have bought canned red salmon many times, but never this brand. On opening the first can, it had a mild, but definite musty smell and taste. I will never buy this brand again.

    Walmart packing is lacking
    No issues with this brand of red salmon. Good flavor. Walmart shipping is fast but packing is terrible. Half the cans on my last order were dented, I assume from shipping. Prior order the same.

    Garage. will be returning
    I ordered 12 cans for long term storage so we'd have some quick easy meat if the power is out or what have you. 11 cans arrived dented. can't keep those. Opened 1 can tonight for dinner and was throughly disgusted by it. I use to live in Alaska red salmon is my 2nd favorite fish we use to can the heck out of it. If I had canned something this crappy I would have been booed right out of the state! It was skin and bone with a little meat. I put it right back in the can and put it in a zip lock bag. i will be returning it as well. I'm sure my local store is going to hate me as I won't be able to get there for a few days at least. i tried online they weren't any help.

    Great for Smoked Salmon Dip Recipe
    We really like Red Sockeye Salmon to use in our Smoked Salmon Dip, which is a favorite with everyone who tastes it. one 15 1/2 oz Red Sockeye, 6 oz. softened Cream Cheese, 1 to 2 Tbsp. Grated Onion, 2 to 3 Tbsp. Lemon Juice, 3 to4 Tbsp. grated Horseradish, 1/4 to 1/2 tsp Liquid Smoke. Best if made a day ahead. Use Triscuits for dipping

    Double the Price and Not Worth It!
    I have tried most of the brands on Walmart site, and this Red Salmon costs twice the price of most of the Pink Salmon brands, yet tastes no better. I never buy this anymore, I buy Black Top and it tastes great.

    Dont buy
    I used to buy Bumblebee Alaskan Salmon. They stopped selling it in larger cans. Chicken of the sea salmon cannot compare.
