Scalloped Edges
I just want to congratulate whoever came up with the idea of scalloped edged instead of straight edges. It makes it much easier to grab the toilet paper. I am a fan of Charmin Ultra Soft.

I would NOT buy this again.
I thought the toilet paper were a good deal until it came. It had brown marking on the toilet paper. I thought maybe just one of them but it turns to be all of them. I feel that it is why it was cheap because it was defective. Too bad because I love Charmin. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

    Scalloped edges!
    I only buy Charmin Ultra Soft, have for years. My last package had pretty scalloped edges, but not this current package. A nice detail and hope it is a permanent thing.

The clean white color enables detection of even the most minute traces of sediment harbored on the skin surface on and around the rectal orifice.     Love Charmin / Hate the smaller rolls
    The title says it all. Apparently in an effort to give us less for the same amount of money, Charmin's manufacturer has decided that giving us skinnier rolls will work. Yes, these are the "mega rolls," but if you compare the width of the roll with the previous product, you'll see that it's between 1/2" and 1" narrower. So less paper on the roll. If they keep this up, we're going to wind up with toilet paper that looks like a roll of cash register paper...

    I always buy this product after trying others and I will tell you why. It feels as though you have a durable & soft tissue in your hands that doesn`t shrink down to nothing.when used. You save money in the long run to buy the Mega Rolls.

    Narrowed the width of the paper and thus the roll
    I purchased these from Walmart because a cost comparison of the per sheet cost for Charmin Ultra Soft showed this to be some of the best priced. Typically I have purchased these rolls from Costco for years and I have been happy enough with the quality. When the shipment arrived at my home I was distessed to find the much reduced size in the width of each sheet. At this point I am uncertain whether this new size is the reason for the more favorable Walmart price so I will be checking to see if Costco's sheets are also reduced in size. If not I will continue to buy from Costco or anywhere else with the regular width. If they too have the new reduced size I will have to look to another brand for future purchases. The downgrade in quality is not appreciated Charmin. If you are marketing a smaller size at some of your vendors it should not have the same name. I will note that it looks like ,while the size of the width of each sheet is smaller, the overall roll volume of sheets in the roll is larger than the Costco rolls I still have at home. It's possible that Charmin reduced the width of their sheets and instead increased the number of sheets per roll so that their price per sheet would appear lower than their competition. Have fun with your pricing games. Your new product is unacceptable to me.
