Rotisserie
Customer service was excellent! But, this product is not a good match for the 5050 which the box says it is. I barely got it to work on a much older Chargriller that I had to modify to get it to work.

    Compatibility difficulties with Dual Fuel Grills
    Difficult to use on Char-Griller dual fuel grills. If used on gas grill, handle must on charcoal side and mount has to be mounted and removed for each use.

    Disappointing
    I have some issues with this rotisserie. The motor sounds like it is going to die at any moment. I used it once and I am concerned it won't make it through another meal. I bought it thinking it was cheap but was hopeful that the parts would have been better quality. My previous rotisserie attached easily, ran like a beast for years and cleaned up well. I cannot see this lasting more than a few cooks before it craps out. I understand it is low cost but the materials should at least be competitive. This made me regret buying it. It was also not very easy to attach. I had to drill holes (not a big deal) but the grill branded it as their unit and it would be easy set up. It was not. It took at least an hour to get everything hooked up and working okay. It needed constant monitoring as the assembly for the spit collar kept coming loose. No matter how many times I tightened it it loosened up. Everything about it made me regret buying it. I couldn't leave it alone without worrying it would fall, slide out or the motor would fail.

    May not "beer can chicken" again.
    I love this thing! It's my new favorite accessory. I have only tried chicken so far but they're so easy come out so tender and juicy. I am currently using it on the charcoal side of my duel fuel grill, so I had to get the longer rod and supports, but works so good.

    Love this ROTISSERIE
    I've had this ROTISSERIE for about 14 (give or take) years and the Side Smoker BBQ Grill for a little over 15 years. I've cooked 12LB and 14+LB Turkeys on it. (Not at the same time) and I've cooked as many as 4 3LB Chickens on it with no problem. Las time I used it was about 2 weeks ago. Still works just fine. I have no idea if they are built the same now as they were 14 years ago, but I love the one I have.

    Excellent accessory
    The rotisserie attachment works great. Easy to install. My only complaint was my grill lid looked like it had the cut outs perforated so I could easily punch them out, but that wasn't the case. I had to hastily cut holes out and it doesn't look very good. The actual rotisserie turns smoothly and consistently. The motor is a little loud, but it's outside. I added a mark on the handle of the skewer so I could tell if it was still turning from inside my house. That isn't necessary, but it provided me with peace of mind.

    hood must be altered before use
    Instruction does not inform purchaser that the so called "knock out notch" removal from the hood can not be removed with hammer and screw driver. Must use saw ie, dremel saw to remove notch. Also if notches do not properly align with spit holder - then significant cuts may be required in hood. Although chargriller ads imply it should fit the super pro grill by simply knocking out the hood notch, this return is considered purchaser preference therefore purchaser must pay for return.

    Don't waste your money.
    This thing is awful! It barely had enough power to turn 2 chickens. The way the counter weight is setup won't work with the off set fire box. This was a thorough waste of money, and now I have two holes to patch in my smoker.
