Very Disappointed!!!!
After viewing in the store, we ordered online to attach to our Char-Griller Deluxe 29" Charcoal Grill. It seemed solid & sturdy when unpacking and installing. The grate that you put the wood on warped in our first smoking session and just 3 weeks after purchasing the entire top is rusted!!!! It gets the job done, but for the price it should last more than a month.......

    Nice addition
    I bought this as an addition to my super pro for the reason of indirect heating source when I smoke ribs. A minor setback was the broken spot welds on the ash pan but nothing major. Attached easily to my grill & I will get more use of this little gem from now on.

    So Happy to make the DUO an Offset Smoker!!!
    I already owned the CharcGrillet DUO I am so happy with. Got the Fire Box for Father's Day and attached. Had no issue at all. It is so square to the DUO with the hardware provided unlike older models. I also move my Grilling machine in and out of the Garage and the Handle on the Firebox picks it all up and I can still move it easily! Thanks Char Griller!!!

    Thanks Hayneedle. Not so much Char-Griller...
    As I was removing the grille from the box I noticed a spot (see image) in the bottom of the box. Didn't think too much of it at the time, but after got "sticky stuff" all over my hand, I realized that it was there because there was damage to the grille. In the apparent attempt to minimize rust where the finish had flaked off as a result of a dented area, there was a thick, gooey, gel-like substance applied to the damaged area. When I cleaned the area, I noticed the dent and the resulting flaking of the finish. It is in the area where the tray is inserted into the body of the grille, making the tray more difficult to insert. I notified both Hayneedle and the manufacturer. Hayneedle's customer service was top-notch while the Char-Griller folks left a lot to be desired. They made me "jump through hoops" to prove ownership and left me feeling as though they were implying that I had done something wrong in the process. It was obvious that someone at Char-Griller had noticed the damage, tended to it, but knowingly boxed up a damaged product anyway. I would give the grille (although bulky & heavy) and Hayneedle 5 stars, but the review deserves only a 2. Char-Griller could learn something from Hayneedle regarding courtesy and customer service. I will buy without hesitation from Hayneedle, but never again will I buy a Char-Griller product...

    Great Grill
    This Grill is Heavy-Duty and has plenty of room both to cook and to load with charcoal. I had a thrift=store cabinet, that I put an extension shelf on just so that I could use a table-top grill. I fixed the grill in place so that it could not slide off of the surface, using 4 pipe fasteners from the hardware store. Looks good! Cooks great too! Thank you for having this product. Picture attached. You may not get the full effect from the photo, because when I uploaded it, somehow the picture got stretched to fit the box, making everything look wider than it really is. But it's a great set-up.

    I bought this to use as a side smoker to go along side the matching BBQ. I'm glad I read the on line reviews already before ordering it so that I had a heads up on how the fitting was going to go. When attaching it to the existing BBQ they give you 2 spacers which aren't long enough so the end result is a sagging side smoker. I read the reviews so I knew that we would need longer bolts with washers attached or bigger spacers (which we didn't have) so we ended up using a total of 10 washers just to get it level, 5 on each bolt. Besides that & the fact that I didn't read the directions on "how to cure a BBQ before first use" (didn't know that you had to). The end result after not curing it first resulted in the paint on the top of it blistering during the first use !

    This charcoal griller is great bought for a memorial day party cooked just about everything under the sun. i.e. dogs,brats,burgers, ribs, steaks country style ribs. I especially like the fact that once you get coals hot you can shut dampers and grill will remain hot up to 5 hours . This is great for late arrivals who are hungry.
