Great grill for the price
This is the 2nd one of this model we have purchased. The first one was for the home and we liked it so well and it was affordable enough to buy one for the lake. Nice product for a great price!

A piece of junk
I don't know if it was Walmart or Char Broil's fault, but I received what appears to be a grill that had already been returned. When you open the lid it makes a large pop noise. The hinges are bent on both sides. The lid has lots of scuffs on it and is also bent in some places. There were other minor defects. I tried to work with Char Broil to have them send me new parts to install (at my expense of time and labor). After I took pictures of the damaged parts I waited days for them to look at them. Then they wanted me to pay for the shipping!! Where is their Quality Control before they ship something? Good Bye to this grill...returning it. If it was not defective it would have been good for the price I suppose but I never got to try it out.

    It's all good so far. A good grill for the money. One problem with it is that it does not come with any handles. Had to remove the handles from the old one.

    Great Grill
    For the money this is a great grill. Easy to assemble and sturdy. I looked at similar grills elsewhere for the same price and this grill is by far more sturdy than the others. I plan to buy a heavy cover for it and with routine cleaning, this grill should last for years.

    We bought this BBQ last summer while in the USA. When we were putting it together we noticed that there was a bit of damage on the hood. I emailed Char-Broil and told them of the problem. They sent a brand new hood free of charge to us in Canada. We love our BBQ. Works excellent and we received excellent service from the company.

    The product is easy to cook meat and chicken just the way we like it. I am still a novice after 30 years of grilling, but it seems that the Char-Broil product makes this process enjoyable instead of a hassle like I remember. The product is easy to clean after each grilling. I clean the grates and metal parts each time and the product looks like new.

    Great Features!
    I love it! I am glad I purchased this product a year ago. I have had no problems so far. It was easy for me to put together on my own and in minimal time. Instructions were easy to follow. The only thing that bums me out is there is no place to put the grill tools; cleaning brush, tongs.. etc. After a year, the ignitor still works!

    The assembly instuctions could have beeen a little more straight forward and provided close up pictures of some connections, and clips. The knob symbols seem to be backwards (customarily the indicator would be thin at the lowest setting, and widen as the flame increases, not wide to thin), or (show that the knob can be turned back the the right and prior to the flame symbol, to reduce flame). I have used the grill 3 times now, and have got the hang of it, and it does perform well.
