Very Happy
It was so nice to be able to order this grill for my hubby as a Christmas gift and have it delivered to my door. I didn't have to worry about going to the store, lifting it in the buggy or getting it out of the car. The shopping was simple and delivery was faster than I thought. I couldn't be happier.

Good for an Apartment
Nice size grill for a small family. But my electric version has big drawbacks, it's never gotten up past 525 degrees for one and as soon as you open it the heat drops close to 100 degrees or better. Even when you open the lid for a very short time. It takes way to long to regain the lost heat and the unit isn't really deep enough to use a beer can stand. It does however make foods juicer and way better tasting. Chicken, steaks and burgers are good but forget about searing both sides of your meats. I do like the way it cooks to a point, just wish Char-Broil would workout the loss of heat issues and deepen it a bit.

    Not as good as the gas model
    I have the gas Tru Infrared grill, and thought I would try the electric for efficiency. The electric model does not get hot enough to cook nearly as well, however it would be good enough in areas where gas grills are not permitted. Just doesn't give the meat that charred exterior like the gas model. Assembly was not that difficult.

    Substance and Style
    Grills food perfectly, and looks just like a gas or charcoal grill. This was a gift for my husband, who was disappointed by the design of other electric grills (not grill-like enough, I guess?) We live in an apartment where gas and charcoal grills are prohibited, but after using this one it's apparent that we won't miss them one bit. Though you won't get any of the extra flavor that some charcoal or wood chips add, the food cooked on this grill tastes just like food cooked over propane. Everything cooked evenly, as well. The actual grill part is easy to clean, as well, so that is a bonus.

    great product for someone looking for electric grill. takes a lil practice to learn how to cook on electric if ur used to gas, however, food tastes the same. easy to put together. assembly time about 1 hr. grill heats to max 400 degrees (may be my outlet vs. another...) food seems to cook quicker on an electric grill so beware

    Char Broil Electric Grill
    I feared this grill would take forever to heat and not grill like my propane ones did. But I hate propane tanks and they always run out when you need them most. This grill heats to 450* in less than 10 minutes. I did a steak in 6 minutes and it was perfect . I have used it so far for steak, pork chops and chicken. No flare ups, and beautiful results. Wish I had done this years ago.

    Good grill for the money
    Packaged well. All parts were included. Definitely requires 2 people to assemble. Took us about 1.5 to 2 hours to complete. Warms to desired temperature quickly ( 5 to 10 mins. ) Once you have placed your meat on the grill to sear it try not to lift the lid as naturally that is when to temp. drops. Grease pan is a little on the small side and is somewhat difficult to remove as you do not have good visibility unless you are a smurf! Would recommend empting sooner than later as the pan would not be as full. Grate comes out easily. Place in hot soapy water and allow to sit for a half hour or so. Then scrub with a firm brush. Really unsure of durability as we have only had this about 2 months.

    Great electric grill -
    I used this grill for the first time tonight. I cooked a steak for myself and my mom. The steak was great, juicy and oh so tender. We really enjoyed this meal. I found the grill easy to put together and easy to clean. I read all the reviews in regard to it and came to my own conclusions. I followed the directions in regard to heating the grill up for the required amount of time, prepared my steak as directed in the book, and did find a loss of heat when the lid was lifted. Once you put the lid back down, the grill heated back up and the result was a perfectly cooked steak, much to my satisfaction. I am pleased with my grill and look forward to using it for a long time. It is definitely a quality made product. I would not hesitate to recommend it to my friends.

    Grill works like an oven
    I really wanted to like this electric grill since I could not use a gas grill at the condo any longer. But, as many people have said in reviews before me, it just does not retain the heat needed to grill. Sure, it heated up to 500 degrees in about 20 minutes as stated in the manual. But, once opened and food put on, the temp never rose above 300 degrees. And, I'm in a warm climate. It took about an hour to cook 2 chicken breasts. In addition to the time factor, even though I seasoned the grill as the manual explained, the chicken stuck to the grates and cleaning was very difficult. On the plus side, the directions for assembly were very clear and it was easy to set up. It was light and easy to move.

    Did the in store delivery option - product arrived earlier than expected. Pick up was easy and customer service, excellent. My son put the grill together and said it was a pain - but he managed it without too much trouble. We've used the grill about a half dozen times thus far and it works great. I let it warm up the alloted time (20 mins), but works as well as a gas grill. You can't taste the difference and when you let it warm up the 20 mins you get really nice grill marks on your meat too. I take the grill grids out and wash them in my sink and wipe down the bottom of the grill. Seems easy enough to maintain.
