If you want temporary usage
Powers well in the beginning runs for about 11 hrs at 50% after a while it started getting shorter and circuit board started to act up and after a month the remote start and eletric start stopped working. Champion offsite work shop aka authorized near by mechanic worked on it and circuit board replaced and tuned it back to life but couldn't get the remote start or eletric start to work either. Then it ran good for another 3 months. I was then told by champion (all honesty)they generator isnt for everyday use and you should look for a another one like a Honda. Wow I was shock to hear that from a rival company. Now I'm forced to wait till the manufacture warrany expires before Walmart will step in.

Having to flip off the battery switch every time
The remote start/stop is useless because I have to go out and manually turn off the battery switch after use. I purchased this model believing that I would not have to go out into the snow/rain/heat. BATTERY TURN OFF SWITCH IS A BAD IDEA! Model doesn't speed up to handle loads, it bogs down like a lawnmower through thick grass.

    Very Good
Very easy to get started. The quick start guide is dead on. Wheels and handle very simple to install. After oil and gas, a quick connect of the the battery, it the start button on the remote and started second turn.. no smoke ..... Perfect... Very quiet compared other unit. Would buy again.

    Happy
Great generator, it was recommended to us by someone else and we are happy with it. When sitting in our travel trailer and it's running, you can't hear it that much.

    So far so good
This generator has a 29.3 amp output so it has no problem running the 12.5 B.T.U air conditioning unit on my R.V + extra's TV etc. I used the propane for the fridge. It is heavy @ 135lbs. so unless you have a tree to back under & use a come along to get it out of your truck, it'll set there. I filled it w/full synthetic oil & I plan on only using gas treated w/stabil gas treatment. It is quiet but not so much enclosed in the back of a pick-up truck bed. With that said, when running the air or watching a movie you'll never hear it. My generator is running @ 61.5 htz. (121volts) which is completely OK according to my research on line, they say 58-62 htz is good, all the same I have a good surge protector to plug my sensitive electronics into. One thing to mention, if you end up leaving it in the back of your pick up, make sure you turn off the fuel to carb & let it run out of gas before you go driving around for exploration. The carb needs to be empty before the unit gets shook up. (fouling of the plug will occur) Also fuel consumption seems to be very miserly. In my opinion this is a definite buy!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Great Generator for a woman
Walmart beat everyones price.AND they even delivered it.. The generator was easy to handle and to set up. BUT it does not come with oil..so make sure you get a quart. Push button start. Easy and started right away. I have not used it yet..just getting everything lined up for the Northern Michigan winters. (always with out power) I truly hope when it is time to run and to depend on it..it will be there for me. As a woman point of view.. this is the best way to go.. I have purchased a different unit but for me the pull start I just could not do it..

    So far, so good
We researched generators for days and days. We initially saw this brand on Amazon, then read everything we could about it and watched some YouTube reviews. We knew we could not put out the money for a Honda or Yamaha after buying a new-to-us toyhauler. While most reviews were favorable, we were on the fence until we learned we could order it from Home Depot or Walmart. That changed things, since our local Walmart is good about returns and helping problem solve issues, and they could get it to us faster. For free, yay. We've had the Champion a week at elk camp. It starts beautifully (the remote start is a little bit of heaven) and is quieter than our last 4000. It was simple to set up after watching a couple of YouTube clips. We will update this review if things change.
