Easy to Assemble
I have been looking for something like this for a very long time and now I finally found it! For someone that likes to do-it-yourself and likes to do projects, it is an easy assemble. The two doors have adjustable shelves and are roomy for DVD's, CD's or whatever you may want to put in them. Below the top shelf there is room for cable box, DVD player or whatever you use with the t.v. It has an opening in the middle for the cables and wires, so they are neatly out of sight. It makes for a very attractive addition in my living room and keeps everything I need in entertainment, in one place. I think it would also be ideal in a large bedroom. The Carson Fireplace T.V. Console comes in Cherry & Black wood tone finish. You can use the fireplace with or without heat. It has a 1,400 W/ 4,600 BTUs which is enough to heat up a 400 sq. ft. room. The LED lights in the fireplace state they have up to 50,000 hours of light. It is 63.07" long, 17.60" wide and 24.29" high. Information/Instruction booklet states that it can accommodate most flat panel t.v.s up to 70" and 135 lbs. max. The second shelf can hold up to 30 lbs. max. And the inside the cabinet doors shelf can hold up to 10 lbs. The bottom of the cabinet, up to 15 lbs. It comes ready to assemble with drawings to show you step-by-step how to put it together. The pieces are lettered and the hardware is numbered to help you. The also give you their phone number, fax number and address if you need assistance. You can also go to their website to view a video on assembling the stand. When assembled, it is heavy. It produces heat very fast and I found the fan to be relatively quiet and with the fireplace lit, it's very nice on a chilly night. Just remember that with most particle board furniture, you want to use only furniture polish on them to clean them.

    the console, looks good but the box was damaged. need to get on those handling the packages. my son-in-law put it together. it took 3 1/2 hrs. lot of parts to it. the one door doesn't fit right. doesn't close all the way. other than that it looks great.

    Great Product for the Price
    A very nice product for the price! This thing takes about 3 hours to put together and certain steps will require 2 people. It was well packaged and arrived undamaged. I recommend laying down a towel or blanket prior to assembly as minor scratches developed throughout the installation (no fault but my own). Would absolutely recommend to anyone that has the time and patience to assemble.

    Wow! Amazing! Beautiful! Perfect! Just what I wanted and what I've been searching for for a few months. The Price was not only a bargain, but a steal of a deal for the quality and beauty of this piece. I've seen similar ones go for $100 plus for the same thing. Would have given it 5 stars but installation was very time consuming. Easy but time consuming, 3 hours to be exact. With that being said, I would definitely recommend this piece to anyone looking for something like this.

    Amazing product ,classy and elegant for your livin
    The fireplace was actually bigger and taller by height as well and it did take a long time to build but it was definitely worth the results in the end I started at 7pm and I have a newborn and a 5yr old so I did not finish building until almost 2am but if you are free im sure it will only take you maybe 2hrs or 3 the most and I do recommend 2 people on this project but everything was delivered in good shape no damaged pieces or missing pieces...it was just a lot of pieces thats all lol but once again breath taking at the end and large cabinets in the inside too so this product is definitely worth the money

    Not good putting together
    It was pretty good until the end when the instructions say to hammer in the feet and the pin is longer than the bottom so it goes all the way through and ruins the wood. Also the bottom piece doesn't line up all the way. It looks cool but too many things wrong. unless you can alter it without freaking it I wouldn't buy this.

    Nice and Cozy!
    First off this is a very heavy item you really need 2 physically fit people to bring this shipment inside. When you're ready to begin assembling the console all of the parts will be labeled for you, but you will need a phillips screw driver and a hammer. I would suggest organizing and grouping your pieces, it will help the process. Now I will be honest this project will take some time, patience, and motivation. In my case I am about 7 months pregnant so it may have been harder for me in my current condition. Nevertheless, I was able to preserver and it was very gratifying to see the end result. This console has some really nice features I have listed a few for you: · The look of the console is nice and elegant, it brings a sense of serenity into my bedroom. · The fireplace is beautiful, very soothing and relaxing to watch...almost mesmerizing. · You have two options for heat high or low. · If you just want to stare at fire you have the option of using the visual effect, no heat. · I have a 50 inch t.v. sitting on top and it sits very nicely. A couple of things I'm not too fond of: · The particle board, you will not be able to place anything wet on top or it will bubble up. · With that said you will need to be cautious while assembling or you can easily damage your product. · There are several smaller sections of board which makes assembly more time consuming. Other than that this beautiful piece and I really hope it last for a good while. Note: I have included some photos for viewing. (My son loves to be in the reviews so he ran to pose in the pictures.)
