Great Gift Idea!
I put them in my granddaughter's car as an early Christmas gift. Live with my kids, so glad I can do little things that make them happy. The cool thing about LED lights it made the car look cooler, especially when I customized them. I customized the car interior lights by using the app, but you could use the remote. There is a QR code on the black box and I just scanned the code to download APP. It's accessible as long as it has Bluetooth App. You get 4 strips all connected to 1 power supply, and that makes the total length 8.8ft. The strip lights fit her 12v cigarette lighter plug. NOT for USB plug. Nice way to upgrade my granddaughter's car, without having to take anything apart or do a major install for it to work. She now has lights that “dance” to the music.

Adds a nice glow under the dash.
These LED light strips add a pleasant glow under the dash at night. They were however harder to install than I'd have liked. Routing all of the excess wire was difficult also.

    This is a very affordable way of fixing up your car. It's very impressive to be able to hit that button and turn lights on. It looks more impressive at night time of course. Can be very romantic, just saying.

    Makes car look a little more modern
    These led stripes are really easy to install. Just peel and stick in most cases. It does come with wire ties for the wires. It they can also wrap the led strip just in case. It took me about 39 minutes to run the wires under the center console and to the rear seats. There's screwed to mount the control box. The lights are nice and bright. Sorry my pix aren't the greatest.
