Focus issue everything else is great
take mostly sports shots. At first it worked ok but now the active shots are all soft and not sharp at all. I have the 100-400 and several other canon lenses and they work well on other cameras. Because of my investment I must stay with Canon but wish I could move on to something else. Will probably try the 80d to see if it is any better.

I love my EOS 70D (most of the time)
I have had the EOS 70D camera for 3 years and it takes great pictures when the auto-focus works. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the focus is off sometimes. Most days almost every picture is sharp, some amaze me they are so good but once in a great while about half are not. I would not recommend this camera to a pro or someone who needs consistency.

    Excellent Camera
I have had my 70D for two years and am SO happy with the purchase! The camera has been to Hawaii, London and various U.S. cities and I'm very satisfied with the results. The quick response and focusing allows you to get shots you weren't able to in the past. The video feature is a delight. I'm still learning that aspect of the camera but it's fun! This was a definite step up from the 40D, one I do not regret.

    Amazing!
I just received this cameras and used it for the first time at my son's wrestling tournament. The photos are so clear and the speed awesome. This was an upgrade for me from the rebel t3i which I like a lot but no comparison to the 70d. I am so happy I decided to upgrade. Photography is my hobby and canon is so easy to work. I have used canon for several years and love it.

    BEWARE ADWARE, HOW DARE?
I downloaded EOS MOVIE Utility 1.2 for Windows from URL: http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/eos_slr_camera_systems/eos_digital_slr_cameras/eos_70d#DriversAndSoftware . One day later my internet experience was ruined by an INVASIVE MALWARE ADD-ON, "Ads by Mini," that is secretly attached to the aforementioned software. Very disappointed, Dave S. Durango, Colorado

    Fantastic Camera!
My fiance bought this camera first and she just loves it, and just my few times of using it we decided to buy another one for me. We are just getting into photography so everything is still a learning experience, but so far it has easy with this camera. After years of using a point and shoot camera the Canon EOS 70D has been an excellent transition. Looking forward to years of picture taking using the Canon.

    Great Video Features
I'm using mainly this camera for my video works. Thats just one word its Awesome on it. I have these two Camera bodies. But the downside is Every images taken in this camera it shift the focus. its not focusing the right point it shows in viewfinder. but in Live view shoot, there is no problem. its a factory fault.

Focus problems when using view finder.
I love the features of this camera but there is an issue when focusing using the view finder and the center focus point. It's summed up nicely in this youtube review: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cA6JnzYSDJE If they could get this fixed this camera would be awesome... but for someone wanting to shoot BIF I would stick with the 7D.

    Just my experience.
I traded in my 60D and bought the 70D. I shoot mainly photos and wanted something a little faster. I shoot 98 percent of the time with a Canon L 100-400 and a Tamron SP 70-300 lenses. After going outside and shooting some birds around the feeder and flowers I downloaded them and had no sharp images. I then proceeded to change the micro adjustment for each lens, the 100=400 had to be set -20 to get a decent shot and the 70-300 I could not get any sharp images from. I returned to the camera shop and we tried the display camera and the images were still not as sharp as my 60D so they gave me my 60D back and refunded my money. Outstanding service form this camera shop in Lexington Ky. (You're not suppose to use names here) This is not a dig at the 70D, it has a lot of great features over the 60D and In my ratings above I will give this positives for all the improved features. I just want to tell anyone who has the chance to take their lenses with them if possible to check.
