Stunning!!
The Cambridge Silversmiths Roam Sand 45 piece flatware set with chrome buffet is absolutely stunning! The quality is unparalleled to any flatware I've ever owned. The design is elegant and beautiful, with each piece marked with a Cambridge seal. It includes an entire service for 8 individuals and serving utensils, as well. The stand fits perfectly in my standard size kitchen drawer.

Beautiful...but
I received this very nice flat wear set. On first glance I thought they looked very nice. The heft of each piece is considerable and they look very classy. The set comes in a wire metal tray which separates each utensil. It's small enough to fit in a kitchen drawer. The pieces are full size and feel good in the hand. The pattern is raised and the base is a dull chrome. The downside of this set is in fact the packaging. Unfortunately several of the pieces are already scuffed . Please see the photo. It looks like they were so tightly bound by plastic ties that they have rubbed together. The wire is so tight around the dessert spoons that I can't get them out! Also the utensil touching the metal tray is particularly bad. Such a shame.

    Great quality!
    Beautiful swirl design (goes great with the Corelle splendor dinnerware pattern); however, I'm taking a star off for how the actual product comes packaged (I'm not talking about shipping or any like that because I actually bought this in store)... the product comes very securely zip tied; to the point that I scratched some of the flatware trying to cut away the zip ties with heavy duty kitchen scissors. Also, one of the corner balls on the underside of the storage rack came off while I was trying to cut the ties, and one of the cross wire backing on the rack got bent when I was trying to cut the zip ties. It took over 10 minutes to remove the items, which is ridiculous. Fortunately I like the design so much and didn't really care about the storage rack, so I kept it... otherwise I would have definitely returned this. I mean, there are electronics that aren't even held down like that; does Cambridge think their items are a hot theft product or something??? This says it's stainless steel, but since there's no rating, I'm going to assume it's 18/0 (because if it was higher, you know they'd definitely would list it, especially if it was like 18/10). Not bad for about $40, comes with a hostess set too. The flatware are also bigger in length than another flatware set that I have... I really like these. These are my "fancy" flatware.

    Beautiful and Functional
    I received Cambridge Silversmiths Roam Sand 45-Piece Flatware Set with Chrome Buffet, Service for 8 in exchange for an honest review. I honestly can not find a flaw! This is a really pretty set of flatware. They're heavy, substantial, but not too heavy. They feel nice in the hand. Well balanced and easy to manipulate. I like the buffet server that they came in. I put a couple of command hooks in my utensil drawer to keep it from sliding around. The brushed finish even looks lovely on my dove-gray napkins. I'm very happy with this service for 8.

    I use this silverware everyday.
    I literally do. I bought this same set about 10 years or so ago and am still using them! I like that they are easy to grip and hold on to. The shiny chrome decoration of half circle lines makes it so. The half circle design really shines at the place setting. They wash and dry wonderfully. This set is a big 45 piece set which includes a 5 piece buffet set. I saw a few changes in this set from my old set. The butter knife in my old set does not have a point on it, it's totally curved and it's smaller. The smallest buffet spoon is shaped different in the new set. It's not as round as my old one. This set is also durable. It's held up great for 10 or so years and still looks nice and has not bent like some sets will do after years of service. I bought this set because I like the pattern and I still like the pattern today.

    Pretty design
    Not too heavy, not too lite. Very pretty set comes with a nice metal tray. I love the design. Beautiful shine. This replaces my 20+ year set. The packaging was a little hard to get open. As you can see in the picture there were heavy duty zip ties keeping the silverware secured to the box and tray. Very difficult to remove. We unfortunately damaged some of the pieces just trying to cut the zip ties.

    Excellent Purchase, Great Quality Flatware
    This flatware set feels and looks like it is very high quality. It could be used for special occasions or as an everyday set. The subtle design is very pleasing and will go with almost any decor. The fact that it includes serving spoons, forks, a butter knife and a very nice stainless steel buffet server is an appreciated addition. The weight of each piece is quite nice, but not too heavy. I think we will be using these for a long time.

    Just what I needed
    I received the Cambridge Silversmiths Roam Sand 45-Piece Flatware Set with Chrome Buffet, for free as a part of the Sparks review program in exchange for my honest review. The set comes with 8 salad forks, 8 dinner forks, 8 dinner knives, 8 dinner spoons, 8 teaspoons, 1 serving spoon, 1 sugar shell, 1 serving fork, 1 butter knife, 1 slotted spoon and a buffet server. The flatware is quite good quality and has a nice weight to it. Each utensil has a beautifully decorated and textured handle. The handle has a matte base with a shiny swirling pattern (see attached image). The flatware is dishwasher safe and it is recommended to wipe down after washing so it doesn't get water spots. The buffet server fits perfectly into a drawer or cabinet for easy storage. The Cambridge set comes with a 25 year limited warranty. If you are looking for a good quality flatware, look no further, Cambridge has you covered!

    I love this set! The pieces are just the right size and are comfortable to hold. The design is lovely, the look is so polished and elegant. I love the bonus serving set. It is the nicest set I have seen. I love the tray and find it really a plus to the set. This set earns kudos from me!

    Beautiful Silverware
    I love this set of silverware! It is 45 pieces of stainless steel flatware with a beautiful design. I usually select solid/plain things, but I'm glad I got these with the design. It is a complete service for 8 people, plus an additional 5 pieces for hostess and buffet serving. I'm so glad they included the basket for buffet serving and hostess service because I don't have a set that included any of these pieces. I love that they are dishwasher safe because I hate stuff that requires washing by hand. My husband loves that they are oversized and are easy to hold. They included a 25 year warranty from Cambridge which is a name I trust. I have a different set of Cambridge silverware I have used for years and they are quality, so I expect these to last too. If you don't like this design, the box states they have over 300 different designs to select from, but I think you should give these a try. I haven't had these more than a week so I'll update my review if I find any problems.
