Pool water
Use it for your pool! Arizona water sucks... This works perfect.. I drain one end while adding other end... 4 days, 8 hrs a day.. In ground fiberglass pool, 20000 gal. Perfect water.

Used to be a great product
Most recent filter lasted 3 days. One prior lasted 35 days. Very Sad. I use the sediment pre-filter as well. Asked Clear 02 company what they thought could be the issue since we're talking about city water supply-NO RESPONSE. At $30 a filter I do expect better from the product and the company.

Resort on on well water so not sure if water pressure can sustain the carbon filter, greatly reduced water pressure on our rig. Will no more when we move this fall to location with citty water/service.Mark

I've read from a few sources that these green filters lower water pressure anywhere from 5 - 10 lbs, but I haven't seen this myself so far. If you can, pair this green filter with Clear2O's pre-filter. It will make everything last longer!Rueben

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser08/08/2021Highly recommended, but use ClearO2 pre-filterThese are a size for size replacement for the cheaper blue filter, but they do need the Clearo2 pre-filter to make them more practical. The blue filters are 5-6 micron filters and take out larger particles, along with some carbon filtering. These green ones filter at 1 micron and substantially improve the carbon filtering. Without the 5-6 micron pre-filter they risk clogging too easily. I just stayed at an RV park that uses well water and the prefilter caught a significant amount of brown sludge, but it is easily back-flushed. This filter actually clogged too and had a very fine silt like sludge on it. I'm happy it clogged because it showed it was working. I normally replace filters every 3 months and the blue ones have never shown signs of blocking or having captured anything. I took my saw to the blocked one and having looked inside I can tell you the carbon filter in there is a very significant and really does filter out fine material.Michael

It eliminates all discoloration and smells from my home's well water, making the water sparkling clear. My water has heavy iron, causing strong discoloration. I attach it to my laundry tub faucet because it doesn't fit any other, and fill up water jugs. I use it strictly for drinking (no showers, laundry, etc) so it lasts a good 5 months. Even at the end of 5 months, the water is still clear. I tried another less expensive filter that I literally had to remove the same day because the water was still discolored. This filter is more expensive, but totally worth it because I no longer need to buy bottled water. I buy the filters two at a time so I always have an extra.Sally

5.00 out of 5 stars reviewVerified Purchaser04/15/2019Clear2O Water FilterThis is an amazing water filter. I live in an area of Utah where the water is very hard and has a chlorine taste. I began thinking out of the box and decided to fill my hot tub using this carbon filter. If it produces great drinking water then soaking in it should be awesome as well. (Please see photos) I used my water testing strips to see what and if any noticeable difference appeared. The raw unfiltered water tested at high chlorine of 10, alkalinity of 40 and hardness at 450-800. You could smell the chorine. The filtered water tested at Zero chlorine, Alkalinity was Zero and Hardness was reduced to 150! This Clear02 filter worked like a charm. My hot tub water feels softer, has no chlorine smell and I can get 4 tub fills per cartridge. An excellent product.LesPaulCustom
