The CAP Barbell Solid 2 In. Olympic Weight Bar, 7 Ft is a perfect addition to our home gym! It's very sturdy which allows a lot of weight to be added and it fits our weight bench perfectly! I also purchased a smaller one!

Not as described or pictured.
I received this today and it doesn't have the Olympic 2” end sleeves as stated and pictured. Very disappointed. Now I just have an errand to run to return it.

    Don't cheap out
    DO NOT CHEAP OUT! I had this barbell for around 6 months and the metal has cracked up already. It has a 500 pound weight Capacity and it is already unusable.

    well made bar
    The bar in the middle where you grip is to narrow. I'm 5'9" and my fingers wrap around back on themselves. I have a 7' bar and the gripping part is much thicker and is perfect for me. Also, the 6 foot bar is only 28 pounds as opposed to the standard 45 pounds for the 7' bar. I got this bar because of constraints in the layout of my basement. I would recommend this bar for women 5'6" and under. But everything else is fine. Well made and fits standard 2" plates.

    Not Happy with this purchase!
    This is how Walmart ships to their customers these days! No box! I received this bar today and it was shipped without box and it is rusted. Pictures are attached. I am not impressed with this order and I would not recommend somebody else to buy this.

    The bar Is extremely cheap quality. It looks like the spray painted the bar in some areas. Comes very scratched out of the cardboard tube in came in. 1 star for this. You get what you pay for.

    This bar is 35lbs. If your looking for a standard Olympic bar that is 45lbs do not purchase this one. I wish I knew before I purchased mine but I got caught up in the price and the details fail to mention weight anywhere. It is an excellent bar hands down and quality is no different then what you'd find in a gym. It gets the job done and I'd trust it with 400+ lbs any day.

    Great starter Olympic Barbell.
    CAP 5-Ft Standard (Threaded) Barbell was my previous barbell. As you can see, going Olympic is a huge improvement on my end. I can't speak to the higher quality or equality of some of the more popular barbell brands (York, Rogue Fitness, etc) but I can tell you that this 6-Ft Cap Olympic bar gets the job done & doesn't take up too much space for someone who lives in a modest apartment. It has a nice spin to it, bar is a decent weight (I've read 30 lbs elsewhere but don't quote me). The Cap 2 inch Olympic grip plates fit just about perfect as well. Wouldn't try out another brand on it just as a precaution. You really can't go wrong with the price in today's time where money management is of a high concern & so is health & with this bar, you won't have to sacrifice either.
