Very Effective
Great cleanser!! My skin is far from perfect due to adult hormonal acne, which feels impossible to combat. This gel cleanser from Burt's Bees is very gentle but definitely cleans the skin well. It has a slight gel feel to it but still lathers up well. My face feels clean and smooth and it reduces the size of my breakout dramatically. It even helped to even out my skin tone after the blemish disappeared. This is definitely something I'm glad to have in my skincare routine. 100% recommend

Bummed About This Product
I have been really struggling with acne since I started college, and it mortifies me because I've never had acne before. So about 4 weeks ago I purchased this product, as well as the toner, after reading such good reviews on them. I thought since it was natural it would be less harsh on my already sensitive skin and clear me up indeed. Well I was wrong. I wash my face twice a day with the cleanser, once in the morning/once at night and I apply the toner at night. I've seen barely any change, if anything my face has gotten worse. I've developed little cystic pimples on my cheeks, where I never used to have acne, and I've also noticed after washing, my face still doesn't feel very clean. Also, after applying the toner I noticed that my face felt sticky and oily, almost as if I rubbed tree sap on my face. It doesn't feel pleasant at all haha. I'm still trying to find a product that will help my recent acne, but this definitely isn't it. For almost 10 dollars a bottle, I think it's a waste of money and usually I would never care enough to write a review on a product, but this product is a joke.

    I've had acne my whole life, even now as an adult it's improved but still persistent. I bought this product and started taking Flo. It got so much better. I've tried everything I mean it, dermatologists aside, never had the money for that. Even proactive didn't work for me. This ish is it. I stopped using it for a while to see if it wasn't just the Flo but it got worse and another week after starting back up with it my acne is gone again so…

    I have very oily
    I have very oily sensitive skin and very prone to breakouts around my chin and mouth, and since I've started using this I've noticed such a difference in my skin. I have way less breakouts and my skin looks clear and bright. I use every day morning and at night. I've tried a lot of face washes and this one seems to do the best.

    Simple way to keep acne at bay
    A purifying gel cleanser that has 98% natural origin. The gel texture is a bit more watery than what I'm used to in a gel, but it lathers up nicely and quicky. It helps keep acne at bay and heal any blemishes that are already present. It's a little drying, but that's expected with an acne targeting cleanser. Overall I enjoy it and definitely recommend if you're looking for a simple way to fight acne.

    Great natural cleanser
    Love this cleanser! After using it few times I already see that I have my less blackheads, my skin looks healthier and cleaner. It's gentle to your skin and don't dry it out. Also this cleanser smells really good. Definitely recommend to try it.

    Great for combo skin!
    I struggle with adult acne (stress and hormonal) and also have fair sensitive skin, so it is hard to find products that treat without over drying. I was excited to find this cleanser since I love Burt's Bees' natural and affordable products (if you haven't tried their original lip balm, it's a must have). This face wash has low foam and a faint natural (herbal) smell. I didn't use it directly on my eyes but did wipe them with a rinsed cloth after cleansing and it removed my remaining eye makeup. My skin felt clean and oil free after washing. I waited to see how long I could go after patting dry until my face felt like it needed moisturizer (this is my test for how drying/irritating products are to my skin)... I could tell I needed moisturizer after a couple minutes because my face began to feel tight, but my skin was not crying for moisture nor irritated. This is a great natural cleanser for acne prone skin, especially if natural ingredients are important to you.

    Good acne preventative gel cleanser
    Good purifying gel for acne skin. I have problems with my face for past years , and I have been using different cleanser . This one cleans face deeply. Also it contains Salicylic Acid to penetrate clogged pores and prevent new breakouts. Also it soothes the skin. I like how my skin looks after I wash my face . I am using twice a day for better result . And during the day I use Burt's bees hydrating cream.

    Good cleanser
    This cleanser is pretty effective and mild but rather drying for my already dry skin. Just make sure you follow with a good moisturizer after cleansing and you should be good to do. I have hormonal acne and it helps me keep my skin clear during that time of the month. It does not irritate my sensitive skin either.
