Could not live without it
My 4th one in my 35 years in Florida. Follow the directions and be mosquito free. I fog 2 or 3 times a week and never have a mosquito even when I lived on the waterfront. You will love it.

Becomes a flame thrower
If you tilt the unit down and the wind kicks the hot, steaming fog back onto the heater, it will ignite the fog and you'll have a jet of flames spewing from the nossle. Unexpected for sure. You'll need quick reactions to turn the propane off and not drop the unit. It also whistles like an old fashioned tea kettle. Very loud. Piercing.

my old, identical one, just quit working, so bought another. first time lit she started 'whistling' ???? no idea what thats about, AND my very expensive fogging liquid (which i dilute with mineral oil) is 'spewing' out the nozzle ???? it's working, but i'm gonna call Burgess and ask why 'whistle' and 'spew' of chemical. i like the 'separate' container for spray liquid versus the style which uses a 'built-in' reservoir'.

    A fun bug blaster.
Puff the magic smoker ! Small, light, easy to use, small micron sized insecticide penetrates well, lingers suspended in room air. I use a squat Berzo matic torch to pre- heat the coil heater.

    So far its working well.
Should be made with more quality for the price. Even though it cheaper then the other foggers, they are just extremely over priced. And so is this. It does what is expected of a fogger to do. This is my second one of these, the first one lasted about two summers, hoping this does better.

    Burgess propane fogger 164436552N tips
This is my second Burgess Insect Fogger. The first one lasted just shy of 7 seasons of use. The key to preventing problems is letting the unit heat up a minute or two prior to squeezing the trigger and unhooking the insecticide can, leaving heater lit and squeezing the trigger until no fog comes out before turning the heater off. Unused insecticide sitting in the unit is the cause of buildup and early failure of the fogger.

    Good mosquito control
I researched quite a bit about mosquito control before purchasing this. I fog about every third day in our backyard where we have a large gazebo. We have yet to encounter any mosquitos. this could be to the time of year, but typically by now they have arrived. Seems to be a very effective product.

smokem out. The instructions were doable.
Best to use fogger with no breeze or wind . Smoke will then rise up to tree tops. We live near a wetlands and mosquitos are a issue. Dawn or dusk is best opportunity for still air.

Excellent product and easy to use.
This fogger works much better than I ever expected, especially at this price point. Be sure to read the instructions, as Black Flag 2 is the only product that this fogger was designed to use. Also, follow the recommendation and apply at dusk and you will observe the thermal inversion described in the instructions as the fog hugs the ground and optimizes the effectiveness.

    Excellent job - Recommended!
I live in a city that periodically sprays mosquito killer but they are irregular in their service so i thought i would take care of the mosquito problem myself. After much homework this item seemed to be the most inexpensive of the lot. And i must say i am very impressed: using the recommended Black Flag insecticide it does a wonderful job. As the instructions recommend i let the heater portion warm up a minute or so before using the fogger & it works perfectly. The insecticide does not have a strong odor. in fact i can hardly smell it at all unlike the city sprayed pesticide which will drive you indoors as a result of its strong, stinging odor. and the Black Flag works immediately - i experience immediate results and it lasts for several days. I am very pleased with the Burgess Fogger. I would recommend this fogger & the recommended Black Flag pesticide.
