New archer here, didn't want to break the bank on a target and couldn't beat this price. I am on a 50lb setup, 340 spine arrows on a 31" draw. Haven't had a pass through even at 5 yards. I've shot over 100 arrows and I'm still on the first of the 6 sides. Keep it in the shed and I'm sure it'll last for years.

Not fit for a Crossbow!
I purchased this based on the fact that it said it was good for crossbows. However, I shot two brand new bolts into the target for the first time and it allowed the bolts to go in so far that only about 1" was still out and tore the fletching on the bolts. Two brand new bolts have to be re-fletch because of the poorly designed target. I have reached out to customer service at Buck Commander to see what they will do, but I think I know. These were the only two shots in the target, I used the field point side of the target since I was using field points and I hit the target in the bullseye area so it wasn't me. Target will be returned tomorrow for a refund. See the photos of the two bolts....these were brand new never fired before this.

    Kind of a pain
I shoot my bow at 60lbs. Arrows go in about half way up the shaft. I then have to tip the target up, place my foot on it, lick my fingers and with both hands pull. Not what I would call easy. I thought I had purchased the same target that I did some years back, but it was yellow. I didn't have that much trouble pulling arrows out. Oh we'll, it does the job. For the money, not bad. Like most things, you get what you pay for

    Didn't work for me
Read the reviews before I bought this, couldn't believe it was as bad as I read so I bought one. Boy was I wrong, everything bad written in the reviews was correct. The first shot from my crossbow sunk the 20" arrow to the fletching. Could not remove the arrow, arrow was welded to the target. Arrow broke off at the fletching trying to remove it. Took it back to Walmart for a refund. This target didn't work for me with my arrow crossbow set up. Might work for a slower crossbow or bow.

    It's orange not red.
This target is fun to shoot, but not so fun to pull arrows from. It's extremely difficult to pull arrows out of this target.

Light-weight and easy to take anywhere
I just got this target and I am very satisfied with it. It''s light-weight and easy to carry anywhere. I shoot a Bowtech Assassin @ 60# and the Buck Commander combo target works out great.

    Great Target, Great Price
This is the only target of its size in this price range I was able to find, so I bought it in spite of a few negative reviews. The main complaint I've seen is that arrows are difficult to remove from the target. I've read recommendations for use of more expensive targets, and they suggest lubricating the arrows for an initial break-in period. Sometimes the arrows were quite difficult to remove by hand. The difficulty is compounded slightly because this target doesn't weight very much, so you have to brace it against something to get most arrows out (especially easy to do if you flip the target so that the arrows are sticking out of the top). I did order an arrow grabber, but by the time it arrived it was not nearly as big an issue. A few days of serious shooting, using each field point side for about the same number of shots, and the arrows have tended to be much easier to remove. The arrow grabber is still helpful, especially as the shot grouping gets a little tighter. But I'd hardly dock this target any points for the effort required to pull out the arrows. I did try a couple of shots on the broadhead sides with practice blades, and while it seems evident that using broadheads will eventually destroy the target, if only because they have to be pulled back out, I was pleased to take a look at the target an hour or two later and find that I couldn't tell for sure even which side I had taken the two shots at. So while I still expect to practice with my broadheads only as much as needed to make adjustments before going hunting, I think there is a good possibility that this target can take a fair amount of broadhead abuse. The main noticeable difference between the two broadhead sides and the field tip sides is that the field tip sides are covered in a burlap-type material. I was slightly concerned at first to see that the frame was held together with metal staples, but I have yet to hit one. Admittedly my experience with archery targets is limited, so I can't really say how this compares to others out there. But for the price, this was the only one I felt was worth trying, and I haven't been disappointed in the least so far. Although its lightweight construction makes pulling arrows out a little more of a challenge at times, it also makes it super-portable. I expect to practice with this out in the woods at various ranges and elevation angles well before hunting season begins.

    Great for the price
The price is fantastic. Targets are so darn expensive. The size is larger than most so that is wonderful. The only drawback is that it is challenging to pull the arrows out of the target. And when I say challenging I mean I have to flip it up, put one foot on it, use a rubber gripper I use for opening tough jars and pull with all my might. Now, I'm a girl so it might not be as challenging for most men but I pull them from other targets with way less effort. This challenge is by no means a deal breaker though. The price more than makes up for it and heck, I'm getting a little extra work out in the process :-)

    Great target
This target was purchased as a gift for my husband to replace the exact same target that has outlasted any of the others he's used so I'm sure he will love it. He'll be surprised that one, I found one and two, for this price! Being an avid archer I know he will get lots of use out of it. Great product at a great price from Walmart

    good target for the money
Bought this target for the back yard, was using a large bag target but to big to move around . This one is great not to heavy and fits in the back of the car so I can take it with me on hunts to practice. Overall it has stopped every thing I have shot at it and not to hard to get arrows out of. Would defiantly recommend this to any one looking for a target to stop fast bows .
