Another Good Brother Printer
This is my third Brother printer I have bought over the years. I have had good success with all of them. My oldest one is 14 years old and still works! With this printer you get a quick set-up guide to step you through the quick process of setting it up on your computer. I installed it on Windows 10. Basically, I unpacked it, installed cartridge, plugged into outlet strip and into the computer via USB. Wireless is also an option, but I did not need this at the time. If you decide to go with wireless, it offers one-push setup. I inserted the CD into the computer and ran setup. I choose to install the printer driver, it checked for a newer version, and it completed the install. That's it. At that point I was able to print. This printer is about two-thirds the size and much lighter than my 14-year printer. It prints much faster too. One other thing I like is the fact that it is duplex. There is an online manual available as well as one on the CD if you need more information. At this point, I always buy Brother printers, because they have served me well.

Sturdy,steady printer
I am happy to give my true opinion of this very nice Brother RHL-L2315 DW printer. I will start with size. The printer is about 13”x13”. I put mine on my file cabinet and it takes about ½ of the top area. I think it is a decent size for a printer. It is a sleek gray color and looks great in my office. Set up: it comes with a quick set up guide that my 13-year-old niece could probably follow. It shows picture by picture the steps you need to take through to completion. The entire physical set up takes about 5 minutes. Accessories: It comes with a CD Rom for your installation & drivers. Put the CD in your computer and go step by step through installing it on your computer. This takes about 5-7 mins. It also comes with a starter toner cartridge and the quick set up /product safety guide Printing: It prints smooth and at a good pace. It is not super noisy when printing and it holds a good amount of paper. I think this is a sturdy printer and is not complicated to load paper or toner. I printed about 30 pages for a project I am working on and I did not have any problems. In my opinion, it works very well and does preforms the way you would expect it to. This Brother printer has three connection options: USB, Wired, or Wi-fi capability so you can print from your computer without physical wire hook up or you can print from your phone, tablet, etc. (love this option to print from any computer/phone!) I haven’t priced the toner yet so I am not sure how the cost of the toner compares with others. I gave it 4 stars only because I think it is a plainer model than some of the higher priced printers . Bottom line: I like the way this printer prints, preforms & looks. I am happy with it and It is a great addition to my office setting!

    Great B&W printer
    This printer is fast and good for midsize jobs (20-50 pages). I had some trouble getting it set up at first and had to watch a video on YouTube. Now that it is on my wifi, pairing to devices is super fast and easy. I can print from my laptop or phone with no problem at all.

    Great Laser Printer. Good Value!
    When I got this refurbished Brother HL-L2315DW laser printer from the Spark Reviewer program, I was hesitant to review it. I procrastinated thinking it could end up being a time-consuming pain. I've used laser printers on the job but those were heavy-duty office machines. I've always thought it would be nice to own one, but thought they were too expensive and stuck with the inkjet printers. The startup for this wireless laser printer was super easy. It comes with a CD to download what you need or you can configure it online. It is recommended to use a USB cord temporarily in one of the steps, but after going thru lots of cords that were laying around, I was surprised to realize I didn't have one. Not to worry though, there is a way to do it without one. It's light-weight and no bigger than most inkjets. It comes with a toner cartridge to get you started. It only prints in black and the print is really sharp and clean. I did find inputting my WiFi password into the printer to be rather tiresome. You have to keep pushing a button to cycle through to get to the number/letter/etc. that you need each time you input one. All in all, I'd say this is a really good printer and a really good value. You'd never know it was refurbished and everything worked as I wanted.

    Quality Print, Fast
    This Brother Laser Printer is amazing! I was a little intimidated at first. I learned just how easy it truly is. The documents I have printed are definitely clear, clean and crisp. A noticeable difference! It fits perfectly on my desk at home with room to spare. A great printer for home office use. The set up is a breeze. I place the toner cartridge in and open the paper tray adjust the size to letter or legal size. It holds up to 250 sheets of paper and you can print on both sides, saving paper. I used the built in WIFI and Brother site to download. The set up was faster than a blink of an eye. It is monochrome so the print is black and white. That is almost if not all the kind of print I need. Fast up to 24ppm. I highly recommend this Brother Laser Printer. This is ideal for college students too!

    Lots of useful features
    The Brother HL-L2315DW is a printer with many great features for a laser printer. The 250-sheet paper tray is generous for plain paper. I certainly appreciate not having to add paper as often. I have owned many Brother Products and find them reliable and long lasting as a brand. This printer is energy star rated which I always look for in a product. A couple of the energy saving features I like are the sleep and deep sleep modes. Many printers just sit in ready mode and consume more energy as a result. This goes to sleep (power save mode) where it will act like it is turned off, but the neat part is that in that mode it can still receive data! Then, when the printer receives a request to print, the machine will wake up and start printing. Deep sleep mode takes even less energy, it also acts as if it is asleep, but can still receive data, but if it has been a certain length of time in sleep mode without receiving data, it enters deep sleep. No worries there because, it wakes up when it receives a print job and starts printing. The LCD screen tells what mode the printer is in. The Go button on this printer has many features as well. Press to clear certain error messages, use it to print any remaining data in printer’s memory, press to select a displayed option, after changing a setting, the machine returns to ready mode, and my definite favorite feature of the go button is to press and hold Go for two seconds to cancel a print job. I must say that comes in so handy and is such an easy way to cancel a print job. The WiFi button has multiple features too, you can press it to launch the wireless installer on your computer, follow on-screen instructions to set up. The WiFi button when lit shows it is connected to a wireless access point, when it blinks; the connection is down or in the process of connecting. Further, it has a four-level indicator showing the wireless signal strength if you are using a wireless connection. Instead of bars to show signal strength it shows in the little curves above the dot from zero up to the max that is four curved lines above the dot. The set up was easy when I did it manually, a CD-ROM is also provided for configuration set up if you prefer. I have printed easily from my cellphone using the Brother iPrint&Scan app. Lastly; I recommend visitingsolutions.brother.com/videos and selecting the printer model number then going to the page that shows manuals. Once on that page it will show user’s guide in html, which is helpful, but most important click on the second item under user’s guide, which is a network security notice: default login password change. Follow the instructions and change the password. Overall, for black and white laser printing, I definitely recommend this one.

    Efficient Printer
    The refurbished Brother HL-L2315DW Printer is worth every penny. It is fast, printing up to 24 pages per minute. It works with wireless networking as well as with high speed USB 2.0. The print quality is bold and clear. Its tray can hold 250 sheets and it uses regular printer paper. It has two-sided printing. Setting it up is a breeze; this printer is lightweight. It comes with one cartridge, I have not investigated its replacement cost. It also comes with an AC power cord, a quick setup guide, an instructive CD-ROM and a product safety guide. To keep the printer in top shape, it must be in a location that remains between 50 and 90 degrees farenheit and the humidity must be between 20 and 80% with no condensation.

    Compact & User Friendly
    When I needed a new printer, my neighbor raved about hers, a Brother HL-L2351 DW Laser printer. She said it was compact and delivered up to 24 pages per minute. All my printers have always been inkjet, so I was a little leery about something different. She then showed me hers and I knew that was the printer I wanted. It is compact which is important to me since I have a small printer table. Out of the box, it took less than 5 minutes for me to set up and install the toner cartridge and add paper. I plugged it in and pressed a button for a test page. I can't get over the incredible speed of laser when compared to an inkjet printer. Another thing my old printers did not have is a large paper capacity. This printer has a 250 sheet paper tray! According to Brother, it can print up to 2400x600 dpi which results in crisply professional text and graphics. But for someone like me, I find I can save on toner by using the 'Toner Saver' mode for my everyday notes and letters. What truly amazes me is that it can do two-sided printing which really saves on paper. It can print from Google Cloud and many other similar choices, plus it can print from wireless networking or with a Hi-Speed USB cable. And even with all these great features, it is user-friendly for someone like me. I have always trusted the Brother name and from now on, it's laser printing by Brother for me.
