Smooth wireless operation right out of the box
This is a very nice printer, especially for the money. Had a Samsung printer that HP has now taken over, and I could never get the wireless printing to perform properly. This is the second brother printer I have had and it worked very smoothly right out of the box. Pleased with the purchase.

Worse than the old one
hard to get any work done with this machine. The old Brother was so much better tom get things done. It seems that the old one was not compatible with the new computer I had to get so I could use the new software. Im not happy that you made a product that was worse than the older one.

    First month use of my Brothers laser printer.
    The scanning and copying functions work great. I have not used the fax functions yet and may not have a need to do so in the future. I chose to install the printer via my PC which was a straight forward process. My circuit breakers went off once I had the TV, PC and printer going at the same time. The printer does use a larger surge of electrical energy than my previous ink jet printer which is to be expected. .

    Power won't turn on
    Had this unit for a little over two years. Now the power won't turn on, no matter what I do. Called customer service, they tried to walk me through basic power up tasks and didnt work, also said my warranty is up and that I have to bring it serviced to get fixed out of pocket. 2 years is not an acceptable life period for this machine. I'll be going elsewhere with my printing needs going forward.

    Great Great Printer
    Best Primer Ive Had to Date - Easy to Install, Prints super fast, Feeder and Flat bed are standard, WiFi connection makes live easy, ink is good price (if you buy off brand), each cartridge prints hundreds of pages (I work from home and print all the time). This is my second printer of the same model, bought one for my parents home and one for my own apartment.

    Great printer and easy to install and use.
    So far I am very happy with this printer. We decided to forego color printing and get the Brother black and white laser printer. Installation went smoothly. It scans in color and copies in B & W. Replacing the toner is very easy. The interface to scanning and printing is slightly clunky compared to my HP Office Jet, but I just need more experience with it. I'm trying to figure out how to adjust print darkness from my print window. I'm glad I bought it and would do it again based on my experience with it so far, about a month.

    Waste of money , runs out of toner FAST
    I got this printer to replace my previous brothers printer that the drum needed to be replaced on. We thought we would just buy a new printer instead of putting money into the old one. We have now gone through 2 things of toner when we should have only gone through 1. Absolutely ridiculous. At this point i just want to return it and get my money back. Never been more disappointed

    Easy set up
    I've had several printers in the past, just about all the brands that you can think off. By far this was the best printer I owned. It's only about a month of ownership but I I can see the big difference already as far as ease of set up and quality of prints and functions. When on asleep, it wakes up as soon as you send something to print. When you turn it on it doesn't take long to be on the ready mode compared to the last printer I had which takes approximately 5 minutes or longer. I'm really happy with this printer.

    Warranty rigidity
    The power supply on my printer died after the first year. But I've note the printer was barely used because it lives in a snowbirds location for six months. Then it is left unplugged. The power supply died a few days after the warranty was over. There is still lots of toner in the cartridge problem

    No Criticism Allowed Even Constructive
    3rd time -- BROTHER REQUIRED writer to change the wording to omit less than glowing parts of the critique. Brother products are outstanding. I've been a 20+ year customer. But from these experiences submitting a review it is obvious that INTEGRITY is lacking and Obstructed at the Oversight Level for Reviews. These PRODUCT Ratings I'm submitting for the 3rd and final time that follow below are marked AVERAGE because of that interference for GENUINE REVIEW. Similarly, the Rating for "HOW LIKELY ARE YOU TO RECOMMENT BROTHER TO A FRIEND?" is marked at 1 because of the same blocking of factual info and prayer for a revision of what appears to be endless intentional incorrect advertising. To be fair, the RMFC-L2710DW (all 3 of mine) has been nothing less than stellar in every way.

    Bad introduction to what may be a decent printer
    quick start instructions were very poor and were booklet instructions. Common terms like "password" were substituted with non-sensical words which made non sense. These instructions feel like they were written in Chineses and translated by a Russian into English! Perhaps the printer will be good but so far, I dislike the experience.
