great buy
This filter replaced another brand; this is my third one and it is the best. The others just dribbled water when in filter mode but this one can be too much and I have to cut it back. When in normal use, it also runs great and has a spray setting too. It snapped on and it doesn't leak when it turns sideways like the other two did. I'm very pleased with it.

I am on my 4th or 5th Brita water filter system. I'm really looking to get a different system. Each time I have gotten a new the indicator light lasts through the first filter change but stops working shortly after the second filter is installed. I get the light to know when it is time to change the filter. Is it still actually working and filtering the water? The price has gone up on each one I buy. I try to keep plastic out of the landfills and water but this is no longer good for me.

    Me and my family drank the filter water and we had Stomach virus the next day ,we had to go to the doctor,missed school and work for couple day.I don't think the water is for drinking

    Great While it Worked
    Works wonderful as long as it works! 1 year warranty but mine went belly up after 6 months. It still filtered the water but the indicator light did not work anymore. I did buy again and saved my packaging just in case I need to return. Been buying this for several years with no problems.

    I have no idea if it works or not. The flashing light that lets you know the filter is working completely burned out less than 2 days after I installed the system. I contacted Walmart and received a full refund, so thank you to Walmart, but I don't have anything good to say about Brita.

    Leaks
    I like Brita, but I cannot stop it from leaking at the nozzle. I called Brita the about two I bought, and they sent me new adapters, but they do not work. I plan to call Brita Monday and see if they have any other suggestions.

    Red light on filter - in 15 days
    Seeing red light on filter - in just 15 days of usage.. It initially turned to orange and red in just 10 and 15 days interval.. Is it something wrong.. or is the filter expired that quickly. The usage of filter is very normal..

    Great product for the price!
    We had a Brita in the past. It did good job as well but was really bulky and in the way. This one is compact had the same functions as the larger more expensive one. Does exactly what its supposed to do. Tap water has a chlorine smell to it. After using Brita, no longer has that smell.

    dont honor warranty
    the battery inside the filter which cant be replaced died after 7 months of use. brita company doesnt respond to their warranty emails or phone calls. dont buy brita unless you wanna waste your money. terrible company

    I live on a river and get my water from a well and the water is hard, nasty, awful! But ever since I started using my Brita filter, my water is DELICIOUS! The price is good, but just like with every other water filter, the replacement filters are a little bit pricey but so worth it!
