This headboard is perfect! It was heavy and a little difficult to put together (like most furniture) but once together it's sturdy and nice looking! :) It fits perfectly with our king! It doesn't attach to the bed frame, it stands alone, but works great with the basic bed frame we have.

poor design!
the only reason I didn't return it or throw it away is that it's toooooo heavy and already in my bedroom, regardless the time I spent (1 hour). I'm wondering whether Walmart buyer of this product has ever assembled it once. 1. no tags on parts(not like Ikea), so you need to spend some time figuring out. 2. on page 8 and 9 of the instruction, the picture doesn't match the real product. the side board is longer than the picture shows. 3. the stupidest thing: part C3 (outer gables), they are identical instead of symmetric, so you end up with one finished with surface, one without. 4. part C4 (inner gables): the screws holes are not deep enough

    Nice to look at but very difficult to assemble. I was towards the end and my grands destroyed it so make you are working private. Wanted to return it but that would not be right (LOL) don't let my screw up keep you from purchasing

    ok so I received this item with no letters/numbers marked on any of the pieces nothing at all to tell you what was what luckily I'm not completely inadequate when it come to putting furniture together but still come on really I paid way to much money on it in the first place plus there was some dings and scratches on it too if it would have been package better this wouldn't have been a problem and if it wasn't so heavy I would have sent it back. I'm not to happy at all about the item I received the fact that nothing was labeled really peed me off. took twice as long putting it together than it should oh and all the hardware is mixed in one bag good luck guessing what's what some if it was self explanatory. Only reason I'm giving it to stars is because once I got it put together and fixed the dings and scratches made it look decent it didn't look half bad. I'll never purchase from this company again and anyone thinking about it taking a gamble on if it's going to be labeled it not that's if they even label there product I mean come on how much does a couple stickers cost and little separation going to cost ya especially when your charge high dollar for some chip board. I don't recommend at all.

    This headboard brings the whole room together! I can't believe how great it looks! There are only two things to note. Arthritis will make some steps difficult, and while it stands fine once the bed is against it, it is easy to topple while assembling it. For the king size, I recommend a second person to help at the beginning and end for moving. This can't be drug across the carpet.

    Love it but..
    It looks very nice finished, the shipping was great. The one thing I was unhappy with was that the set up instructions were vague which made building it difficult. Othwrwise, everything is great!

    The unit arrived in great condition and was relatively easy to put together within about an hour. The headboard was not marked up and fit my purposes wonderfully. It is of good quality and I am very pleased with my purchase. The only thing I could say negatively would be the pieces are not marked which makes it a small challenge, however it is fairly easy to figure out which goes where.

    OVERALL GREAT! JUST SHORTER THAN EXPECTED
    The Brisbane Storage Headboard(king) was easy to put together with one person. Just make sure the pictures EXACTLY match up. I made a small error and put a piece on backwards. Good thing I realized it right away. The pieces weren't marked so the pictures really will help. But the piece itself is fairly heavy and decent for WalMart. My King size bed has a high mattress AND wheels on the frame so this bedframe was about a foot and half to low. My pillows were going into the shelving area. At first I placed old books to attempt to resolve the issue short term but that made the entire unit VERY unstable and wobbly. After researching the web for solutions I cam upon an ebay item that was PERFECT! It was a 8"X5" furniture riser. Your supposed to use it to raise your bed but it works for the bed frame too! They are very sturdy and I placed 2 stacked on top of each other horizontally for strength and support.     This headboard does not fit with the bed pictured.
    I got the headboard and bed set. I didn't actually put the drawers together for a few months, because I didn't need them yet. Once I finally put them together, I found that the drawers closest to the headboard won't open because of poor design as a set. The pieces do not fit together in any special way, and screwing them together would be totally useless, seeing that the drawers closest to the headboard will not open because there is wood from the headboard in the way. Luckily I am pretty good with furniture, and I can put some wood in between as spacers. I should be able to screw it all together, but it will cost me money to buy the wood and screws. As you can see from the picture, there are already a few parts where the black has been scratched or chipped away from only a couple months of use. Nothing I can't cover up with some paint, but still shows how cheaply it's made.

    I love this headboard the only thing is that we live in an apartment and if you dont have the bed shoved up against the headboard really good the headboard is wobbly!!!. I ended up getting felt stickers that you use on the bottom of chairs and cutting strips to putt on the back of the head board so it does not scratch the wall. If I was a home owner I would problly just screw this headboard to the wall so you dont have to worry about the noise. Also dont believe the website when they say they will text you to say your item was delivered to the store when you do site to store delivery. I kept getting on and checking the tracking number and it was in store already and this was 3 weeks ago and still have not seen the text message yet. other wise I am very pleased with the headboard great price for the headboard and works great!!!!
