Braun series 7 is a Keeper
I am a little late to the electric razor party. I have been using Magic Shave for well over 20 years. I alway thought that was the best a man get (you have to be older to get that reference). But i started researching this shaver for a few years. Then I just grabbed this one for a good price. I only used it once and its just as good if not better than my trusted Magic Shave. I still have a couple if cans of my Magic Shave left. But i think i will stick to this electric shaver for a while.

not a good idea for him
We didnt like the shaver, my Husband is in a nursing home and it was too much for him to do. we are sendng it back and get one that is very simple. He is just too old and shaky to use it. Where do I take itto send it back

    Braun Series 7 790cc - A Great Shaver! Just bought a new one, as backup (2022.10) - in case the old one ever wears out. Had the first one for many years, still works great. Cutting foils last years, and still shave well. I highly recommend Braun Shavers!

    excellent razor -- but not for wet shaving
    I haven't tried using an electric razor for about 20 years. I hated the ones I had tried. I finally have this a whirl and after 2 weeks, I love it. I have a difficult beard to shave and it handles it well and with very little irritation. I took away a star because the kissing says "wet dry," but the instructions say to use on a dry face and says to not get the device wet. I'm glad I read first!

    Spend a little more - makes a HUGE difference
    I'm not a frequent shaver so getting this unit was a big upgrade over my previous electric shaver. What a difference a quality unit makes. The shaver feels much sturdier, holds a charge for a very long time (I've used probably 10 times so far, no need to charge yet) and gives a close shave without the skin irritation of cheaper models I've used.

    You get what you pay for!
    Great shave and easy to clean! I have used Braun for decades and don't waste my time or money on anything else. I have used Remington, norelco, and several others in my early years, but Braun is the best! The cost is not cheap up front, but broken down to a yearly basis it is a very reasonable shaver.

    As useless as the Braun I had 20 years ago.
    Well I guess electric shavers haven't changed in the last 20 years after all. Based on the reviews, I thought all that new technology would provide a decent shave but I was wrong. This shaver is every bit as useless as the Braun I tried 20 years ago. The self clean feature is cool but what good is that if you can't get a good shave. After I use this electric, I still have to clean up with a safety razor. Expensive mistake purchasing this shaver.

    This is my first electric and I wish I had tried one earlier! Works great! Fast and no razor burn! If you order online you can't get the rebate because you have no register receipt. I tried every way I knew.

    Shaves really well. I love that it cleans and sanitizes itself. I've had my old one for over 10 years and it still works good but the old discontinued shaver head is hard to find in stores plus I wanted an upgrade. This shaver does work better and I'm looking forward to another 10+ years out of it.

    There's a reason premium products command a premium price. This shaver is an example of that. Great shave, self cleaning, I can't think of a single thing not to like about it. Blows away the cheaper ones I've used in the past.

    Great electric shaver worth the high price
    Very close shave. Often required only one pass to handle several days growth. Low noise for an electric shaver. Trimmer works well. Sturdy build except for head lock switch which is a bit flimsy. Cleaning system does its job well, though replacing cleaning cartridge will cost over time, but you're able to clean with water to conserve cleaning solution. No more messy shaving foam and nicks and abrasions from my fancy Gillette razor and expensive blade refills. Overall a great shaving experience and a great shaver.
