Never expect anything but the best from BOSE!
This review is for the BOSE HOME SPEAKER 300 WIRELESS SMART SPEAKER. I was thrilled to have the opportunity to try the Bose Home speaker. Upon receiving it, the first thing I took notice of was the general look and feel of the speaker. I could immediately tell that it was high quality. Set up is a breeze. You just plug it up, download the app to your phone, and you are connected in less than 5 minutes. The bass is outstanding!And of course it is because that is what BOSE is known for! It fills the entire room, which is really impressive coming from such a small device. I cannot get enough of it! Don't let the size of it fool you, it's a powerhouse! The Google assistant and Alexa build in is outstanding! It has a little light bar that lets you know if you are connected and the assistant is listening. The assistant can hear you even when you are listening at higher volumes, which is pretty neat Works like a charm. I can repeat songs, skip songs, pause etc. all without lifting a finger. It also has presets on top just in case you needed to use your hands. Also, with the Bose music app, I can browse through all of my music in one place, jumping between stations and playlists. It is also multi user friendly, which is cool because my husband and I do not share the same music taste, unfortunately! It is Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Apple Airplay friendly allowing you to browse Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Music, or anything from your phone or tablet. This allows you access to things like the weather, news, books, and more! Just imagine an audio-book in surround sound! The Bose speaker is a step above the rest! I am definitely purchasing one for downstairs too! I have an Alexa down there, but I'm thinking…an UPGRADE is in order!

Sounds amazing for a wireless speaker
This was super exciting for me to try. However, I did have a few complications. First thing to note, when you go to set this up, make sure you were at home on your wireless network. I brought this item to work with me because I was so excited to try it. I could not get it to login and had to reset it multiple times. I finally realized, it was probably a network issue and it needed a smaller network. I tried it again once I got home and it worked perfect. I had no issues. Once I got it working, and once I got my Music accounts and Amazon Alexa account linked to it, it was time to listen to it. I loved how it sound. It really had a good sound and bass for a small speaker. It also allows you to talk to it just like your Alexa. If you have google home, it works with that too. I really enjoy this product and it's functions. I definitely recommend it. Again, not for use at a large network type area, but perfect for home use for sure!

    Love the sound and options
    We absolutely love our BOSE 300 speaker. I have always loved BOSE products since I was young and they have really good sound. I have a bunch of BOSE products and this speaker did not disappoint me. I love it is easy to set up and only takes a few minutes to connect to the BOSE and ALEXA apps. It's a great addition to all the other speakers we have including other Bose speakers. This speaker packs a powerful sound in it's small size and I use it most for listening to music in our kitchen. It connects easily to the Bose App and Alexa apps. I am able to ask Alexa just about anything, add things to my cart, find recipes, get notifications and more. It connects easily via USB bluetooth, wifi, and airplay which is cool. It has 6 preset buttons and the sound is superior with such a compact design. The best part for me is the sound quality and how I can connect easily to my Amazon prime music and ask it to play whatever music I prefer. It also connects to spotify, pandora, iheart, weezer, Sirius XM and more. The speaker has a very sleek and classy design and doesn't take up much space. It hears me clearly and does just about whatever I need. My kids even like talking to Alexa and one of my kids even figured out she could play games with it on the Bpse speaker too although it's easy to mute Alexa. We are throughly impressed and happy with this speaker.

    Awesome Bose Home Speaker!
    This Bose Home Speaker 300 Wireless Smart Speaker is Awesome!!! Easy to set up. I love the design, so smooth, glossy. Awesome bass!! No distortion. The sound is excellent for this compact speaker. Easy to connect to Alexa or Google Assistant. My husband cant stop rocking. We love it! I highly recommend Bose Home Speaker 300. You will not be disappointed. It will last forever, that's why BOSE is the name!

You have to download an app to your phone. At first this gave me some problems. I didn’t get the right app. You have to make sure you get the “Bose Music” app. There are some other Bose apps that come up when you search. Once I got the correct app it was just a matter of following the pop up menus. When I got everything done and started playing some music I was very impressed. I couldn’t believe how much sound was coming from this speaker. It even made my teenage son leave his video game and come see where the awesome music was coming from. The speaker has six soft touch buttons on the top surface that you can preset different music sources with. It also has volume controls and voice assistance controls. You can connect with WiFi , blue tooth or an audio jack. It has google assistant and Alexa built into it. The voice assistance is able to hear your commands very well even when the volume is high. The speaker is also able to connect to various smart home accessories. Of course this requires additional equipment such as smart switches and outlets. The design of this speaker goes well with any decor and doesn’t take up much space. But with the deep bass and clear sound you would think it was much larger. The sound seems to fill the room completely.

    Beautiful Speaker, Excellent Sound
    This gorgeous speaker is fantastic! Bose always makes quality speakers and this is no exception with true to life sound. I have trusted Bose for decades to give me great sound and it has never failed. On top of that, you have the features of the Bluetooth with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa. All you have to do is download the Bose app and connect the speaker to your Wi-Fi network. I am so excited about this speaker!

    This is a very powerful speaker that easily can play songs from your phone using Bluetooth or any other music service you connect to. It also connects to your Amazon account to use with Alexa. You can easily browse music and or news/sports apps and save your favorites with up to 6 presets. Easy set up after downloading the Bose music app. It is shipped w sturdy and durable packaging.

    Awesome Speaker
    The Bose Home Speaker 300 Wireless Smart Speaker with Google Assistant is one of my favorite devices in our home. We love new technology in our family, and this speaker meets the criteria for a family favorite. I had to download two apps on my cellphone (Bose Music and Goggle Assistant). I also had to create accounts for both apps. Be patient. The set up did take a few minutes with my cellphone as described in the prompts given in the apps. My son and I both enjoy playing music on the speaker from our cell phones using Spotify and Pandora. It is easy to link these accounts to the speaker. The speaker sound quality is amazing. The tone is perfect as it flows from the speakers. We have been playing all types of music and songs to see how well the speaker sounds playing bass notes as well as the treble notes. Impressive is all I can say about the clarity of each note played and each word sung. The volume level with that same impressive quality is unbelievable. We have not yet turned the speaker up all the way because the volume is loud enough at the halfway point on the volume control. The preset buttons on the speaker make it easy and convenient to play songs that you like when you are away from your cell phone. The Google Assistant feature is helpful somewhat. We ask a variety of questions along with the current weather conditions; some questions asked are unanswered or misunderstood at times. The virtual assistant is still a cool concept. This speaker is of high quality and worth the investment if you listen to music at all!

    Excellent Sounding Speaker
    In our home we use Google Assistant exclusively and have 4 Google Mini speakers and one Google Nest Hub (with screen). Until we got our Bose Home Speaker 300 I thought that those Mini's did a really good job of pumping out the tunes - boy was I in for a shock once I let loose with the Bose Home Speaker! I just cannot believe how our master bedroom is filled with full, rich sound. Not to mention that it gets very loud with zero distortion. It is by far the best sounding speaker we have in our home. It did take some time to connect (more of an issue with my phone which I had to power on and off to connect to our Wi-Fi), but once connected, it worked flawlessly. It recognizes if it is me or my wife asking for our calendar appointments, our emails, weather - and any random questions we can come up with. Just like our Google Mini's, we can also control our connected garage door opener and thermostats. The touch capacitive buttons on top are responsive and look sleek. My only complaint is that it doesn't support YouTube Music. We have a paid subscription to YouTube Premium for ad free videos and music on YouTube Music. But that is a small issue since we can stream our YouTube Music (or anything else) from our phones anyway over Bluetooth. I would strongly recommend this Bose Home Speaker 300 to anyone and will likely buy one as a gift the next holiday season.
