good heater
we've had some of this style heaters before and love them. We got this one to go in our camper . It has heat already , but we like the flame effect so much that we decided to carry it with us. The weather hasn't turned cold yet, but if this little heater does half way decent it should be plenty for a camper.

Cute stove, but…
I bought this little stove for its color and style. It works OK, but if I close the doors all the way, they turn off one of the switches inside. It's so cute that I want to keep it.

    High Marks for This Little Red Stove!
    You will LOVE this heater! This cleverly designed machine is great quality and has a lot of nice features. I live in a tiny solar powered home that produces more kilowatt hours than I use so I am very careful about choosing energy efficient appliances. An electric fireplace may not be the best way to heat a room, OR is it? First. If you want to FEEL warm and use only 17 - 40 watts then just use the adjustable firelight function. The firelight effect is beautiful, and the stove looks very realistic, but it is lightweight and clean, unlike a real woodburning stove. The firelight function doesn't generate heat, but if you have a blanket you FEEL like you have a fire going in the room. Quite frankly, in Germany in the Army on those frozen nights in the guard house I would have been glad to have a warm light bulb to warm the fingers! (We tried candles for a while, but the officers thought we might burn down the guard house with us in it so that was nixed! ) You can also use the firelight ambiance with a little electric throw or even a heating pad and a blanket. You would be surprised how fast you will get overheated, but unlike a real fireplace you don't have to let the room turn into a sauna waiting for it to burn itself out!. Second, for those few northern Florida days when you just MUST get the chill off in the morning standing in front of something warm then this baby cranks out he heat. The high setting uses 1360 watt. I suspect you won't be able to take that much heat and will end up turning off the Turbo function and go to normal setting which uses only 720 watts. For the energy miser here is an observation. You can run the little Chinese built fireplace for 20 hours on high heat and use only 14 kwh of electricity or about $1.50 worth. For the same energy you can use it for 40 hours on the normal heat setting. And again, for the same energy you can run the little fire light alone for 4 hours a night while you watch TV for the whole winter and have that snug, fireside feeling. I expect I may use the heat function about 15-20 days a year when outdoor temps get down in the twenties on those days when my mini split heat pump just doesn't work efficiently or before the sun is up high and pouring through the east window to take the chill off. But, I may just use the jolly fireplace every night when it is cold while having some warm lemon ginger tea and snuggling with the heating pad. (That's what you do when you get old and don't have something better. Haha) For the money this unit is surprisingly sturdy. It is compact so it doesn't take up the whole room. You don't need to run gas lines or chimneys or smoke out your neighbors or clean ashes or kill yourself splitting and hauling firewood. Just right for the well insulated, tiny house or any room depending on what you need. The red color is very jolly. Enjoy!

    Electric Stove Heater in Glossy Red
    We already have one of these stoves for our RV and love it. We rarely ever use the gas and this stove keeps it so comfy and warm. Friends of ours fell in love with it and we ordered it for them as a thank you gift for the many things they have done for us and our family. They received it a couple days before Christmas and were thrilled with it. At first they put it in their bedroom and then moved it to their RV when they spent the night in it. Very much would recommend this stove. It's charming and practical at the same time. Well worth the money!

    More Pretty than Functional, BUT we still love
    We love the rustic look of our little cranberry red electric stove. It is absolutely the most charming thing! However, while it does put out very warm air, you have to be RIGHT IN FRONT of it to feel it. I think that if our space was better insulated, perhaps it would heat better... I gave it 4 stars because while it's adorable, I just am not sure that it will heat as large of a space as it claims. I definitely don't think it could pass as your only heat source, but if you want something that adds supplemental warmth and charm to an already heated space, then this is it!

    Electric stove heater
    This little heater arrived quickly and in very good condition. It's light in weight, very simple to operate and does a good job to quickly take the edge out of the coldness of a room. It is exactly what I'd expected and gives the room a lovely cozy feeling. My cats love to lie in front of it when they return in from being outside. This is money well spent. The price is good. No problems. I am very happy with this product.

    Lost a star because putting on the legs was a nightmare and the plastic makes it look cheap. But it gives off great heat. It warms the whole living area (living, dining & kitchen).

    My new woodstove electric heater
    Great space heater. Very nice realistic flames. I put a camp coffee pot and a small iron skillet on top. Nice ambiance for my kitchen. Haven't used much for heat yet except to test. It all works and controls are easy. Like the thermostat feature especially. Nice cranberry color too. Also lightweight so easy to move around. Very pleased.

    Hot little heater
    When I received it, the box was twice as big as the heater. So, a little smaller than I expected. However, it seems to put out a lot of heat. I will be using it in a 15x20 ft living room that gets cold in the winter. Replacing a baseboard type plug in heater that doesn't have a fan. The fan on this unit makes just enough noise to let you know it's on. If the room is quiet, such as a bedroom, the fan is noticable, but should be ok for most people when trying to get some rest. But if you have a TV or music on, it is not noticable. You must turn the fireplace light on to use the heat. The light & heat have separate switches, plus a "turbo", or high heat setting for faster heating of a larger area. And a thermostat dial to control when heat is on. However, the fan is always on even if heat is not. Allows for continuous circulation. Overall, I like the unit, & it will work for my purpose.

    Best buy I've ever made!
    I bought this electric stove (in black) three winters ago (this being the third) and I just brought it out for the first cold day of the season. Works as well as it did when brand new! This great little electric stove helps keep my entire house toasty warm at a minute fraction of the cost of the propane heat we once depended on (that's with it on "turbo" once the weather settles into permanent cold - including single digit nights - and running 24/7). We won't ever depend on anything other than electric heat again, in general, and this wonderful electric stove in particular!
